This is a great monitor if you want something that works for anywhere between two months and 12 months. This is our fifth or six purchase of this item in the last four years. They work great for a while but then for some reason they just quit working.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! From the moment I took it out of the package, the base unit had trouble charging. Getting it plugged in required the perfect angle, standing on your left foot, and pixie dust. Unacceptable for such an expensive product. I had to keep plugged in all night because the charge wouldn't hold even at fully charged. One night, while on the charger and plugged in, the monitor just stopped working COMPLETELY. DO NOT BUY!!!
