I loved this movie. I'd never heard of it before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm not a huge Eddie Murphy fan either, but this was not his typical role. This was a beautiful movie that I've watched over and over. I'd recommend it to anyone. Keep the tissues close.

This movie is a great relationship between a black man taking care of a white family respecting each other. Something we need more of.

In the past I have avoided movies with Eddie Murphy due to their subject themes and profanity. This movie, however, portrays Murphy in a softer and more humbling nature as a gifted cook dedicated to the family who has hired him.
