Coffee maker works with a basket filter which uses a little more coffee than one with a cone filter to get the same intensity. It brews a pot quickly but can overflow the basket if the pot is not set in place properly. Carafe keeps coffee warm for a couple of hours without a hot plate under it so saves energy.

I first used a pot like this on a mini vacation. I was impressed by how quickly it brews a pot, and how hot the carafe keeps the coffee. My only criticism would be there doesn’t seem to be any brew strength option.

I wasn't expecting much and was roped into buying a Mr. Coffee product by husband who had asked for the brand for years. Father's Day came around and ...fresh out of ideas...I broke down and purchased this 10 cup model after some research. I ordered it and the next day Best Buy had it on my doorstep. Awesome coffee. Really good. A little bit of a hassle to first negotiate but the coffee is truly wonderful. Follow directions however and only use 2 Tablespoons per cup. So glad to find this.

Basically this is an okay coffee pot. I ended up giving it away after just two uses though in favor of a much more expensive Keurig Duo. The water reservoir was my major gripe about this unit - it seemed like the lid was an afterthought. It doesn’t snap on or have a fitted lip or hinge or anything like that it just sorta sits on the opening. Ours actually fell into the reservoir a couple times before we got the first pot brewed. The built in water filter is also gimmicky. It’s attractive. The carafe is well made. The coffee tasted great. It seemed like a two different groups designed it. The “Fast and Good Enough Team” and “Build it to Last Forever Team”. Fast and Good Enough got too many wins, overall the product is a loser.

2nd one for us. Makes great coffee, keeps it hot and no worrying if we turned it off when we leave the house.

This coffee maker makes the coffee quickly and the metal container keeps it warm for a long time. The container is difficult to clean - You will need a bottle brush and the carafe top holds water after washing it- It is elegant looking. Have not tried the programmable function yet. The machine has an alarm to remind you to unplug it after the coffee is made. A necessity if you do not want to go through the 45 minute cleaning process.

Makes a Good cup of coffee. Pretty sleek design. No frills Do like the thermal carafe .

The thermal carafe keeps the coffee warm for quite awhile which helps in an office setting. So far the machine works great.....coffee brews quickly...

I ordered online when this Mr. Coffee was on sale. The machine I received seemed to have been opened before and it had a small dent on the front, plus, I was having some trouble getting the clock to set. We decided to take it back to our local BestBuy and that store had one on the shelf, so we swapped. I have 3 adults in the family who ADORE coffee, so we are really working this maker hard! It makes great coffee quickly and keeps it hot in the thermal pot for a couple or three hours. I love it.

The Stainless steel look is great. Very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Multiple settings. The Brew tastes amazing!

Bought this to replace an old coffee maker that the clock died on with the heating element under the glass pot. I like this one as it makes the coffee in 7 minutes and shuts off, but does display how long since the coffee was brewed for 120 minutes. The coffee remains hot in the insulated pot for that time. The clock is easy to read.

This coffeemaker makes excellent coffee, strong without being bitter. The thermal carafe doesn't drip and keeps coffee hot for hours without cooking it bitter. On top of that, it uses less ground coffee than other coffeemakers for the same brew and it brews quickly. Probably the only negative is that the touch controls are a bit touchy, it's easy to accidentally start the coffee.

Keeps the coffee warm for hours. Love that it is stainless steel carafe. As I broke the last one. I love it!!!
