I thought I was getting a deal at $19.99! It was no deal. It didn't keep the coffee hot and then 5 months later, it started leaking! Can't fix it, can't return it... $20 in the garbage.

This is the biggest piece of garbage!! I bought it 2 months ago when it was on sale, but just took it out of the box to use it a week ago. The coffee is lukewarm, at best. The water just sits in the filter and doesn't all go through, so what does go through, is watery tasting. I've tried it every day for a week with the same results. And I've made sure the decanter was pushed all the way in. It's not operator error. Unfortunately, the 30 day return period is long past, and I threw out the box. I'm still going to contact Best Buy and Mr. Coffee about a refund. This coffee maker is either defective or just junk. I ended up buying a Keurig. Don't waste your money on this.

I like to drink my coffee all morning with a coffee pot that keeps it hot as long as needed. This carafe is not kept heated. Once the coffee is brewed, it starts cooling off. Within 2 hours it is still ok, after that just warm.

Was so excited about the price! Wow! $20 bucks...guess i should have read reviews first!! It does not heat water. Well, it sputters out luke warm water, and the burner to keep it hot does not. Keeps it less than lukewarm. Then automatically shuts off after 2 hrs. NEVER gets warmer. (Believe me, you can not put a spell on it, or stare it down to make it hot. We tried that....wishing will not make it so. lol!! ) Very disappointed!! Great design, that's why it received one star.--Come to find out, a friend had one a few years back. It's in the basement now. Same issues!!! Really? Mr.Coffee, come on, fix the problems!

No coffee filter, water filter only. Water leaks from the base. Coffee doesn't stay hot.

I purchased one of these for my parents to use on Thanksgiving. The first one turned on and wouldn't brew coffee. (Great on Thanksgiving!) The second one brewed the coffee but it was not hot. When you poured the coffee out of the thermal (NOT!) carafe it was lukewarm. This one will also have to be returned to Best Buy. No more Mr. Coffee machines.

What a great price at only $19.95...if you like luke warm coffee that is. The very first cup was hot but then after less than 20 minutes the coffee was luke warm at best. And this was a thermos. Worst thermos I have ever used. I was so disappointed in this unit. I was able to take it back and get a full refund so that was good.

Bad experience, I bought this coffee maker a long time ago because I saw it at a special price, when it arrived I kept it for a gift at the right time and when that moment arrived, which was months later when the owner wanted to use it, it did not catch on at all. In conclusion, it did not work.

Bought this coffee maker to use on Thanksgiving because my other coffee maker broke. Plugged it in and tried to brew. The lights were on and the coffee maker beeped but nothing happened. Sad to say no one had coffee with dessert. Will be returning this garbage over the weekend.

I have to microwave the just brewed coffee from this unit to get hot temperature. I think that's enough said about performance of this unit.

I got this coffeemaker because the discount Best Buy offer approximately two years ago, recently I started using but my surprise isn’t that coffeemaker is not working that all, its made coffee but is cold

one of features we wanted was ability to take pot while brewing to get cup of coffee. coffee was supposed to temporarily stop going into pot while pouring cup of coffee. it didn't automatically shut off - so we had a bit of a mess

You cannot use the carafe to fill with water because it's not measured for the amount of cups, and you can't see because it's not clear......you cannot get your hand in the carafe to wash it - opening is to small.

I have had several Mr. Coffee products all really good. I had is exact coffee maker and it was great. The recent purchase was slow and noisy.

It work good for a couple months or so and then it started failing on me. I turn it on and it goes for anywhere between 2 seconds to 30 seconds and stops. Dont Buy

Expected better on this product. Of course the heater doesn’t work after warranty expires!

After one month stop working properly and the carafe is not working also, coffee came cold

If you like brewing 2 cups of coffee instead of a whole pot, this ones for you.

easy to use coffee maker, I really like that it brews the coffee extra hot and the canister keeps the coffee hot.
