I read the reviews before I purchased. Most of the problems with this coffeemaker were legit. I do like the concept and it makes a good flavored coffee. The carafe has no heater under it and the coffee is pretty warm not McDonald's hot when made and changes to warm within a couple of hours. The suggestion to fill carafe with hot tap water and let it set for a while and warm the carafe. That is too much trouble. You just have to drink the coffee fast before it goes to warm and I don't care for that. I guess I will end up keeping and using it for a whlle.

Very good coffee. There's no hot plate so coffee doesn't sit there for a while and then get that burned flavor. It stays hot and fresh for a long time. BB price was awesome, thanks!

Works perfect. What makes it great is the coffee stays hot for hours in the thermal carafe after it brews. The other day I got a cup 4 hours after it brewed and it was still hot.

Like many Mr Coffee coffee makers, this is a good buy, especially since I bought it as a Best Buy Daily Deal! It makes a good cup of coffee and the thermal pot keeps your coffee hot without overcooking it.

Very pleased it makes great coffee in a heat retaining urn. No burner underneath to burn/bitter the coffee. This maker has decent features for brewing.

Safe and dependable. Brews clean fresh coffee with the filter that came with coffee maker. Coffee stays hot for some time even after auto shut -off.

Works well at making coffee. Carafe is not spectacular at keeping it warm, but I also don't pre-rinse with hot water recommended. Beeping is slightly annoying, but coffee does taste good.

I will start by saying it makes good coffee. The problem is the construction of the coffee maker. It is fine if it is on a counter without any cabinets over it. I have cabinets over my counters and the problem is that you have to pull it out every time you want to put coffee grounds and water in the machine. That also applies to taking the grounds oud to throw them away. Of course you could leave it out in my case it would put it on the edge and a very good chance of it ending up on the floor.

The coffeemaker is a great value; all of the functions work perfectly and brewing time is quite fast. The carafe works very well and is a nice addition for this price range. If I can find one minor fault with this machine, it would be the labeling or markings next to the function buttons are small or too fine and difficult to see on the brushed, stainless surface. Overall I gave it five stars; and I am very satisfied with both my purchase and the fast shipping service from Best Buy!

We had the identical one for about 8 years and it worked fine...makes a good pot of coffee, good not great. Bought this one on sale and it was good value.

Good product for a great price. Nice looking item. Got it as a deal of the day. Like the different features it has. It perks fast and quiet.

I love this coffee maker with the sealed carafe so that hot coffee will stay warmer longer. I use the delayed brewing daily and can't have a coffee maker without one. The one drawback is that the carafe doesn't get warm fast enough so coffee can be lukewarm. If I run hot water through it first and then brew a pot it works much better.

it is easy to use and makes great tasting coffee...i just love it.

The coffee is great but I find complicated the system to be able to program it to brew in the morning.

Works great and insulated pot keeps it warm for hours.
