I've ground coffee a few times with this and it grinds it pretty fast. Not perfectly but it does a pretty good job.

Had the exact same one for years and it did the job. But I'd read up on Burr Grinders and loved that they had 1/2 pound hoppers on top. I figured as soon as my Mr Coffee pooped out I'd move up to something better. Well, he hung on for more years than I figured, but this year the little blades that clean the sides broke off and it was time. So I started window shopping and review reading and price comparing. And after a week of due diligence I decided that instead of buying a pain in the butte that might make better coffee for $150 I'd pick up another ol' reliable Mr Coffee. I'm happy. My fresh ground bean coffee is a yummy way to start the day.

Grinds well, slightly easier to get all the grounds out than most grinders of this type

Does the job. You'll never have to worry about grinding your coffee at the store when press for time. Works great.

You can't beat it for the price. Sometimes you have to run it twice though to get all the coffee ground.

Grinds great coffee. Perfect for press or percolator coffee. Have not tried to let it auto grind to see if it understands the difference in grinds. Prefer to do it myself

I purchased this grinder to use at home for small pots of coffee. I am mostly happy with it. The one downside I have noticed is that the coffee grounds don't have a consistent grind. The grounds towards the bottom of the hopper are usually more finely ground than those at the top, and sometimes, they clump together at the bottom. Since this is my first home grinder, I have nothing to compare it to. I do feel it's a good deal for a simple at home grinder.

Now this one gives me more flexibility with herbs vegetables Etc however cleaning is a biyach

The best coffee grinder. I use it to bring whole spices, small nuts and coffee. Very handy

Great little grinder. choose what grade you want and toss those beans in! I'm on the frugal side so finding beans that are cheaper than ground coffee has been challenging.
