    Has worked since 2014

We bought this back in 2014 and have found this to be a nice little espresso maker. My husband is my personal barista and he knows the ins and outs of espresso making. We bought this machine because we started drinking coffee drinks (mochas) after the birth of our second child (go figure). It has served us well over the past almost 2.5 years. it is VERY basic and does not come with added perks of higher end espresso makers but it gets the job done. We will be upgrading to a more expensive machine soon and will leave this with family when we visit. It can make espresso very quickly and efficiently.

I absolutely love this product! Mr. Coffee - Steam Espresso Machine for Christmas from my husband. I am not an experienced barista - this was my first time!!! It took 2 tries to learn how to work everything, but now I can make a single latte before work in about 3 minutes - and save money. I do wish it had come with a frothing pitcher. I purchased one at a nearby store for $12. I also make sure to use hot water in the machine to increase the temperature of the lattes. If I use cold water, it is not hot enough for me. I think, for a beginner, this machine is a great product for the price and I would recommend it to my friends.

If you're often on the go I would say go with a coffeemaker that is programmable, something you can set up at night and will be ready when you wake up or as you get ready. The strength of the coffee depends on the amount of water that you add to it. I add less water since I like espresso shots. My mom likes cappuccinos and sometimes just a little foam with her coffee. It does not come with a steaming pitcher for the milk so I had to buy one elsewhere. I am a barista and I am able to make great coffee at home. When I want an iced latte I simply brew strong coffee add milk and ice and I am good to go. It takes me 5-6 minutes to make my coffee. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and it is compact.

We have had this machine for a couple months and have used it at least 10 times to make cold espresso drinks. The machine gets the espresso nice and hot, comes out quickly and does the job well. For the price you have to realize this is a first time home brewing machine. If you want something with bar pressure you can look elsewhere. This is perfect for the occasional coffee drinker who doesn't want to pay for coffee drinks. Overall my husband and I really like our purchase.

Bought an older model a couple of years ago and it was left behind in a vacation rental. I was very happy when I found the newer model at Best Buy, I purchased it and use it every day. Great product, easy to use, easy to clean and doesn't take up much space.

    Great little machine

It makes good espresso. Frothing milk is a pain as with any small machine. I make the espresso with this machine and use a small batter operated frothing stick with hot milk. I make two lattes every day. Love the machine.

Bought this little machine as a deal of the day. Perfect for what I use it for. It is a bit loud when steaming milk but it gets the job done. You get what you pay for. Pretty decent buy.

I have such a hard time waking up in the morning and was tired of buying drinks with espresso in them. I did do a little research and was surprised to see how many stars this maker had on multiple websites. The directions are detailed and easy to follow, within minutes of opening it I was already making a cappuccino!!! The item is simple to use, produces yummy drinks, and is easy to clean. The only small problem that I dislike is that the spout where you heat/foam your milk sometimes splatters, but nothing that a quick wipe down won't fix!

I love my expresso and cappuccino machine

While in the Navy visited allot of countries where expresso is the main coffee. Now I can make my own using my new Mr. Coffee - Steam Espresso Machine. Best thing is if you checked what other machines cost, you will know the price I received at Best Buy was more than well in my budget. You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to get one little bit of happiness. It's very easy to use and best of all, I can now set back and remember my overseas adventures, with just a simple little cup of express. If you are looking for a bargain, I would recommend Best Buy's little touch of Italy.

I bought this for my son who has recently started loving coffee. He likes the espresso, but the steaming wand is so close to the machine it's hard to get the milk frothed. I bought it at 1/2 off and think it's great for $25 but I wouldn't pay more than that.

I was skeptical about this machine, but bought it anyway because it was a great price. It's a wonderful starter machine. The process is a bit messier and more involved than with a higher end machine, but it does produce satisfactory espresso. Don't bother with the steam wand, it will not produce serviceable foam. I bought myself a frother wand for $10, and heated the milk on the stove. I've since upgraded but I passed this machine along to a friend who uses it daily.

This coffee maker was quite a surprising purchase

Considering the price point, the coffee maker has been an outstanding purchase. Although the amount of coffee that you can make is limited (one person), it is perfect when that is the case. What sets apart this machine from others, at the price point, is that the bitterness that coffee typically leaves after brewing, does not happen with this maker. The coffee comes out great tasting every time. I have not had any problems with the machine, after daily use, for several weeks.

    Not very user friendly.

I bought this item and returned it. It seemed like a great value, as it does make espresso, but I found that it wasn't worth the savings to me because not only is the knob hard to turn (especially if your hands are wet even a little), but the steamer nozzle is too close to the machine body and not long enough to really access your cup to steam the milk. I also found that the steamed milk would seemingly calcify on the nozzle every single time I used it and it would be a pain to get off. It really shouldn't be that difficult. The design of the machine wasn't great aesthetically, but if it works well that is of little consequence to me, however in this case it had both things counting against it, and the pros were not enough to make me want to keep it. The pros being pricepoint, easy to fill water basin, and does make rich coffee.

With my racked up Rewards Certificates, I managed to score this bad boy for only $14. I should have known I would be somewhat disappointed downgrading from my old coffee shop's $10K+ machines, but the Mr. Coffee serves its purpose. Because it brews into a carafe instead of individual shots, you're guaranteed some burned espresso, but hey, maybe you're into that! And the steamer is a little funky. But all in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I'm just happy to be able to make caramel macchiatos once again at my leisure!

    Does a great job

This may be the third Mr. Coffee espresso maker I have owned. They don't last forever, maybe 3 years of daily use. But they do the job well. I've used other brands like Krups and some others and didn't notice a difference. Had a very expensive Gaggia pump espresso maker and IT only lasted 3 years of not very intense use. I bought this one because this type of expresso maker is getting harder to find. So I buy one every time I see one.

This gets the job done but takes some time to perfect. The glass carafe is a cheap piece of junk that broke by simply sitting it the sink. You will spend 10 dollars every time it happens and it has to be ordered and shipped to you. I instead utilize a 1-cup glass measuring cup for both frothing and brewing and that seems to work much better. Overall, it is great for making a personal amount of espresso.
