This laptop is an awesome gaming machine. I mainly play Diablo III. When I first loaded this game all the settings defaulted to maximum and it runs smooth as silk on those settings. My only gripe is that when I loaded Windows seven, none of the drivers would load. (Had no trouble finding Windows seven drivers, they just wouldn't work. They all wanted some other program or software in order to run.) Other than that, this is an awesome machine!

Purchased this computer as a pre black Friday deal. I feel like I did get a great deal on the computer as it was very nice. I say it "was" nice as I did end up returning it. The issue I had was with the keyboard, even after all the windows/driver updates the keyboard was intermittently unresponsive. The screen was nice and for the 1080p resolution the GTX 1060 graphics card was perfect as you can run games at very high to ultra settings. Upon returning this computer I found the Asus gl702vr was on sale for just $50 more than what I paid. To me it worth it as the Asus has the full 6gb 1060 card vs the 3gb version in the MSI unit. I also got NVidia G-sync with a 75 hertz screen. The MSI computer was nice, was just worried that I would have further issues outside the period of return. I'm happy with my new computer.

Has a nice screen/keyboard. Plays all the games you want on it, well. Without breaking the bank.

This laptop is perfect for even the most memory-intensive games, without having to sacrifice performance for high-definition textures. MSI Dragon Center allowed me to easily overclock the GPU, and since it came with a free 1-year license of XSplit Gamecaster, I could easily post my best play-of-the-games online. However, the sound system was tricky to set up perfectly. Fresh out of the box, the sound was constantly cracking, until I found out that I had to download the driver for Nahimic 2. Overall, this laptop was one of the best I've ever purchased.

I wanted a laptop with good graphics but also had a cd/dvd player in order to watch netflix movies. Many of the laptops online no longer have players so I went into the store to talk to an employee in order to identify the ones that had one since I had to open each description up individually online to try to figure out which ones had a player. The employee guided me to this one, pointing out that it had the new high-end graphics processor that I'd read about in reviews. While watching movies online or on Netflix DVDs, the images are fuzzy but I cannot be certain if that is an issue with the laptop or with the movie providers but seems suspicious that it is the computer since it is fuzzy for both streaming and dvd movies. I am also getting a LOT of static from the laptop sound. I watch a lot of movies with a low volume and use the subtitles so it hasn't impacted me enough to try to fix it (other than running the default audio problem solver script which did not fix it) but if I wanted to listen to music or truly listen to the words of the movies then it would have a large impact.

I bought this laptop computer for my 13yr gammer kid and he is in looove, the response, graphics, size and price is excellent!!!

I bought this as a gift for my 12 year old nephew who is a gammer. He loves it and keeps telling me what a great pc it is. Now for the useful: if you want to be adored by a nephew I highly recommend purchasing it. On the tech side it is suoerior to its competition. Supet fast processor and so far has handled any and all of the games my nephew is using. No problems what so ever. Negative: it is expensive but worth it and a better buy than the Alien Ware which is more expensive and clunky performing and looking.

The computer has been working great... it's fast and the graphics are terrific!! Great gaming computer for beginning gamers!!

I needed a faster computer. I thought this would be great. I'm not sure if it's me. The computer is responsive, but still have some issues with software I'm using. I'm not sure if it's the configuration or what. I expected smoother use. I'm not a gamer, I needed the speed for video services. As for recommending it. I'm not sure. Best Buy requires for me to put an answer

High powered, beautiful graphics. Speakers were bad but just had to remove an added on audio program. Sounds great now.

Was going to buy another well known gaming laptop. Glad u checked this one out. It's fast and graphics are great

Great body,soft keyboard and cool colors. No sound issues. Easy to carry, not too heavy. Overall good computer.

Dis is a nice raptop. The specs are nice and it can run many games. If you are trying to play the games coming out in 2017 then you will be happy. It will most likely play the rest of this year at 45 to 60fps. Next year you might have to stay on the average settings and then after 2018, this raptop probably won't be worth the cost.

I am not a gamer. I purchased this computer to get near desktop performance in a laptop. It delivers! The main negative is that the color settings for the keyboard keys don't stay set the way I want them. The second negative is weight, but it's not too heavy.

So far so good on this laptop. I purchased a "gaming laptop" just in case I want to game in the future but I'm not 100% using this machine for gaming. I use it for my work computer and enjoy the large hard drives to store virtual machines on. The machine boots fast, has a good looking screen, and the few times I've played Watchdogs2 that came with it, the graphics were very well rendered. For the price, this was a great buy.

The performance of this laptop is amazing. It runs my online games with the graphics all the way up. The only problem is the sound card. I have only had the laptop for a month and the sound is terrible now. It was good when I first got it, but any updates to the driver and then it gets distorted.

love the large SSD drive for fast start-up + the large GB drive. Has storage for days. Lots of storage space for a lot less $$ than Dell - great value. Love the backlit keyboard too. Overall, great value for the $$. I'm not a huge gamer, but I love the computing speed & SSD drive & storage space for the $$ value. Can't beat it, so I bought it and love it, even though I don't use it much for gaming

Persistent checking & was able to snag this online for $1099 + tax. Not sure if you'll see it that low again, but worth the effort if you like playing deal hunt. Not a serious gamer but we had PVZ Garden Warfare 2 and couldn't play it on our other laptop. I didn't want to go all out gaming, but didn't want to get something under powered, either. At first had issues with the game not always loading and after reading other comments, decided to uninstall Nahimic to see if that solved the problem, and it sure enough did. (Nahimic wouldn't even launch, so that spelled trouble from the get-go.) PvsZ GW2 plays great now and monitor is fantastic. Fans a bit noisy but at least they blow out the back of the laptop. Headphones if you really don't want to hear anything but the game. All in all I think we are going to love this thing. But it isn't simple. I wish the Nahimic program worked properly because if you watch the tutorial on it, it sounds like it rocks when it works right. But no complaints about the sound without it---just no way to control sound effects. Dragon Center, etc. is also a bit complicated as is all the bloatware they load on this thing, but you can sort through it and figure out what to dump or keep. DVD drawer seems a bit flimsy but don't really care that much using that. In short, my son is totally digging this thing, and I feel like I got a deal!

My boyfriend got this for me because he really wanted me to be able to play a bunch of games that I wasn't able to play on my mac. It's even better than I thought it would be. I haven't had any issues with any games. It has handled everything really well. I even record gaming videos on it. I also love the fact that I can take it with me when I travel. Such a good purchase!

The graphics and games Run smoothly but the battery runs out fairly fast.
