Exceeded all my expectations. Very fast, great graphics. Killing WOW !!

Exchanged my 970 for this because it was same price and my speakers where bad. Plus the virtual ready excited me. Well I will be returning this because the graphics are worse and the speakers on this are also spotty. Want to build my own.

It is a great laptop. I use it for gaming and video editing. But the only problem is that the sound of the speakers becomes muffled or distorted after an updated. Brought it to geek squad and they fixed it, but after a few weeks it happened again.

Wonderful gaming laptop, I love this computer with two drawbacks. 1. 16GB Memory is not a lot if you are wanting to download more than one large game. For example, I can't have Overwatch and Elder Scrolls Online on my computer at the same time, or it overwhelms the memory, making it impossible to play either game. 2. The speakers can have problems with certain frequencies when playing music. I use headphones however, and if you adjust the volume correctly it fixes the problem. Other than that, the computer runs smoothly. Overall, though a good computer, I would get a computer with more memory.

I bought this on the recomendation of the salesmen. I was looking for a laptop that would carry me into the next 8 to 10 years. I needed a computer that was fast with lots of memory. I'm not a gamer but needed a device that could easily handle 3D imagining. This handily fits the bill!

The battery life isn't amazing. All the top components in this machine but unfortunately the battery is unable to keep up longer than 2-3 hours. (This is while playing a 2D side scrolling game)

Purchased this at the recommendation of a Best Buy employee. After reading online reviews, make the purchase. Most I've ever spent on a laptop, however totally worth it. My husband is super picky and totally loves this laptop. Recommend for gamers and everyday users.

SURPRISE! This Msi gaming laptop is great! The SSD boots up your programs with lightning speed, and it comes with plenty of storage for all programs you may require. Best bang for you buck with this machine.

I went to the store and looked at this pc for my 10 year old gaming son and that one sound bad, and was told that the floor model was damaged is why it sounded that way. It's has the power he needs and is also vr ready, but the speakers on this thing are worst than the old 45 player I had as a kid. Even built-in sounds make it sound like the speakers are busted. Turn down the sound doesn't help. The only way to get clear sound is to use headphones or buy external speakers. It's so bad my son stopped using it until we bought him new speakers.

Love this computer, some minor updating and driver issues but overall I love it

This computer has met expectations. However, I am having a problem with the speakers. I am going to have to return it to Best Buy for a review and possible replacement of the speakers.

I drive a truck across the USA and love to game on my down time. I love this MSI gamer laotop. Does everything I need it to and has not slowed down none yet. Getting my brother a MSI so we can play and chat!! It's that good. Game of choice Overwatch!

This is a great gaming laptop, but the MSI Dragon software could use some polishing if it is going to be preinstalled. Overall I'm satisfied with the quality and performance.

I was looking for a new laptop and wanted one that was pumped up so to speak. I searched for a while and settled on this one. Price was within range. I am very satisfied so far.

After owning this laptop for almost 2 years it still works like a champ. I do mid tier gaming such as; Apex Legends, Killing Floor 2, Starcraft, etc. I prefer FPS over beauty so I adjust setting usually to mid tier on these games. The only complaints I have noticed is that my keyboard is starting to go. MSI doesn't sell a replacement keyboard for it anymore so they told me I need to go third party vendor. HDMI port works but you can't move the cable if not it will disconnect. Overall I am pleased with this laptop.

I got this laptop for my daughter who is using film editing software and needed more power. While this does a great job of keeping up she has been having trouble with the sound being distorted. She has to reinstall the driver every time she restarts the laptop in order to fix the issue. She had to reinstall it after restarting her computer a few days after she had it but then did not restarted it for the 2nd time until a couple of weeks later and then needed to fix the issue again. She also recently discovered that the laptop can not find the webcam. I wrongly assumed that if she took it to Best Buy they would take care of the problem since it is less than a month old but she was told she would need to purchase geek squad protection and then they could run diagnostic tests - not sure what it would cost to fix the problem. I would have thought it came with some type of coverage from Best Buy and also a manufacturer warranty and that Best Buy would inform her of all her options - so either it does not come with any manufacture warranty or they didn't tell her. I will now check with the manufacturer myself and find out if they will back up their product. I do a lot of shopping online and when it comes to big ticket purchases I like to buy from places that have a physical store I can go to if I have any problems - I buy most of our electronics and appliances from Best Buy and have not had any problems with those products until now - I guess I will need to read up on their policies :(

Bought this for my gamer son who says it is great- fast with good video card. My only complaint is the cost- double what I would pay for my own laptop.

It has all the bells and whistles you would expect in a performance laptop. Can play newer games at full 1080p resolution with no noticable lag. Slightly heavy but that is too be expected on a performance machine.

Expensive computer and I expected it to perform very well given price, but has intermittent as well as persistent issues such as connecting to my wireless printer and sound issues.

This is a fantastic computer. I use it for audio production and it handles everything I throw at it flawlessly. But the problem I have with the computer is the bloat ware that come installed. If you want to view your pictures saved on your drive all I can say is good luck. The program that comes preinstalled for viewing pics is horrible and crashes the computer every single time. Whoever made the software should be criminally convicted.
