Significant other absolutely needed a laptop with a great graphics card, lots of ram and huge harddrive to edit videos. Well... Im not really sure if performs well because its main use is probably watching adult films. Oh well, you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink.

Only had the laptop for a few weeks and although its a hundred times better than my 10 try old desktop, it's not quite what I was expecting. The battery life is atrocious, running only d3 it's approximately 20-30mins. The keyboard (mainly) wasd doesn't always work, even running on the lowest detail settings so it's not a delay. Last but not least, occasionally the computer does not want to come out of sleep mode, and will occasionally freeze while running more than 2 programs. Its not common, but I hate having to hard shut down a new computer over something like that.

I had a 17' ASUS ROG, but it was stolen. So, I wanted another gaming laptop, but smaller. This laptop had everything that I had in my ASUS, but smaller. Good idea, right?! Well, I have experience touch mouse delays as well as others. I have experience backlight interruptions as well. After reprogramming the mouse and backlight, problem is solved. However, the Steel Series Engine tends to be the software that controls both and require constant reprogramming or simply resetting. Can't remove, so I must reset when I experience the issues previously stated. Unsure if this related to Windows 10 developer updates or other software. Nevertheless, it is a pain that I wish I could permanently resolve.

MSI laptops are truly amazing machines, with rich graphics.

I am not a gamer. I bought this laptop for my architectural design business. I absolutely love the physical design. About 4 weeks after I bought it, the speakers were putting out a more and more distorted sound until they finally stopped working. Then, about 8 weeks after I bought it, it started booting up slower and slower, and I had to uninstall a bunch of things and take all my USB devices off every time I wanted to boot up. Also, I'm getting constant notifications for MSI services, Windows 10 features, etc. I have spent hours upon hours attending to all these items. Getting a new computer was supposed to benefit my business, not cost me more money!

This system is fast and reliable. Powerful enough for gaming/streaming and reliable enough to open and manage large files with little to no effort. I love how you can manually turn the fan up to cool the system shouldnyou feel that it's running a little hot.

Beautiful,sleak,fast,AWFUL speakers, 2nd one.Brought 1st. 1 back, tinny sound.2nd one better,sounds like an AM radio station.For a gaming computer of this price the speakers are awful.

Very please with this laptop so far. It has a dedicated graphics card, great for playing games. The video quality is excellent. I don't have any issues with mine getting to hot, like some other people in their reviews, the fan kicks on and its great. And the price is a little better at Best Buy.
