awesome gaming laptop! No complains so far. I was able to get it when they have it on sale for $1299.99 and Im so glad I took the chance because now its on $1399.99 so I saved $100!!! my original budget was $800 for a school laptop only but since I read awesome reviews about this laptop, I decided to take a chance and get it! I haven't really tested its limits though. Only complain is MSI's customer support. called them for the back up disc. and I think they expect you to be computer savy cause when I called them regarding the back up disc for the laptop they just told me that I'll have to do that myself w/o offering any assistance. which is really sad. MSI please step up with your customer support.

I didn't buy this laptop to game, not my thing. But I do use it for development and hacking utilizing VMWare and couldn't be happier. I wanted something fast that I could run multiple Linux Virtual Machines with and this does not disappoint. There is more than enough CPU and Memory to run anything I need even Cisco VIRL. One of these days I'll probably load it up with Linux and abandon Windows 10 as the host but for now it doesn't really hinder my efforts at all though I'm no fan. If your looking for something to do the same and maybe a bit of gaming as well I don't think you can match the value and performance of this MSI. I'd buy it again.

Excellent gamer laptop - Two drives: One 128G SSD and the other 1TB Hard drive - Makes boot up a breeze. Everything as promised and seems to be working well. Very happy and pleased. Yes, the second fan, when engaged is kind of loud, but to me it is negligible and knowing it is helping to keep the system cool when shifted over to Overclocked. Also, the primary drive is set to receive everything by default, this will quickly fill up, since it is primarily meant to hold system files - just go into the settings and make the secondary drive (D) to receive all the items you do not want going into the primary (C)

I brought this computer i needed a computer that can do everything which include gaming, building robotics, music production for classes, school projects and homework, and etc. What i love about the computer is looks, keyboard looks awesome, graphic card which includes 970m which makes gaming run smoothly, and sound system which sound better than i got with mac. I would say this computer is really well worth and i will recommend to anyone

I love this laptop. it has great speed for playing games, but the keyboard has a really nice touch for writing emails and other work duties. Screen is a good size and it's fairly light to carry for the power.

First of all, this is a great laptop! It is fast, it feels well made and it looks awesome. I told the bestbuy associate that I did some gaming and photoshop, he said this was a good median for these uses. The Best Buy guy was very helpful and knowledgeable about this product. That being said I wish I had done some cost comparison before I bought this product. Look online at other stores for the price before you go to Best Buy so they can match the price. However still a great laptop.

This is my first gaming laptop and it really performs beyond my expectations. I haven't seen any lagging in games so far. Same for my engineering software; everything runs without a hitch. The only issues I have with it are the pretty big amounts of bloatware it comes with (but that's really the case with most computers nowadays) and the short battery life (shorter than some other gaming laptop brands), but those were things I was pretty much expecting. Overall, a really powerful machine.

I love this computer. It is extremely fast, the graphics are excellent. It has windows 10 on it which I totally hate, but that has nothing to do with how efficient this computer is. The only draw back that I have is how sensitive the mouse pad is, so I purchased a separate mouse to use and that made a huge improvement. This computer has a very large hard drive and stores so many of my pictures on it so I can edit them, but it sure hasn't slowed it down any.

For the price this computer is awesome! It starts out fast and games run beautifully on it. And I love the rbg keyboard.

Fast hard dive for quick boot ups. Great graphics, lots of ram. Overall a very fast machine the backlit keyboard is great for me since I do a lot at night in the dark. Nice big data drive was a feature I needed since I do quite a bit of game programming with all the room I need for graphic assets. The speaker sound is ok but not the best. It may be feedback from mic so I use head phones which seems to give the best quality. If you need both I would surely use head phones.

This computer was just the one I was looking for. My graphics need was met with the complete system. It's light weight and easy to carry anywhere. I love the fact that I can upgrade at will. Great gaming computer. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

The laptop is fast but it gets really hot! The colored keyboard is a great feature.

Absolutely great laptop for gaming. The display is phenomenal and the system overall is extremely quick. Runs most games on high-max settings around 60 FPS. After a little bit of overclocking, The Witcher 3 stays around 45 FPS and Rise of the Tomb Raider around 38 (these are both on high settings, not max). The system itself never got above 75 degrees running those games, and everything else stayed in the mid 60s or lower, so heat is no problem at all! I did have to update the BIOS after an update for Windows 10, but that was painless. I also reinstalled audio drivers and haven't had any issues at all. I'm a huge fan of MSi after this purchase and I'd highly recommend their computers to any gamer.

This machine is exactly what I was looking for regarding processing speed. Im done buying and using the typical HP and Dell laptops for my advertising business . Went with a gaming laptop this time as its lightning quick. Runs surprisingly cool too for having such power. The fan is a bit loud but if it keeps this racehorse running smoothly Im happy. Great machine. Worth every bit of $1200 price tag.

This laptop is well built and fast. I bought it for business use and to game on it when winding down from a busy day. The online reviews were overwhelmingly positive. This Best Buy model has some extra bells and whistles that make it a steal at this price point.

I needed a new laptop to run my adobe programs and this multitasks greatly for what I need. Not to mention it runs a lot of the games I like to play rather smoothly. Do note that it can get kinda warm even with its cooling so play in a relatively cool environment otherwise great all around.

Pros: Good price for the power, graphics and storage.This system is also a great work system. Handles Power Point presentations, photo and video editing extremely well. Cons: Only con is the battery life, but that is expected in most gaming systems. Overall: Used for both gaming and work and it has handled everything.

The screen is a bit small, I had to reinstall the Nvidia drives and the keyboard is really cool but it has it disadvantages being the fastest laptop I have I use it to work and the keys are too smooth and the number pad has that awkward shape. Asides from that pretty well priced, not too heavy.

A solid gaming laptop. New high speed M.2 drive is a compromise between speed and cost. Good graphics card. Plenty of RAM. Reasonably portable size. I can take it on a plane without difficulty
