WARNING.....DOA!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the the computer was DOA, bad motherboard, wouldn't even turn on. So Geek Squad ordered me a new one. Guess what!?!?! That one had a bad RAM slot. So needless to say we returned it and went with a different brand. Hopefully 3rd x's a charm. Geek Squad guy said MSI makes great laptops but crappie desktops. Absolutely do not recommend!

DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER!!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying that I have been an MSI fan for years. This computer is such a disappointment and what has made me reconsider buying from this brand from now on. I bought 2 different desktops. The first one would power on but it would not send a signal from any of the HDMI or Display ports in the GPU to the monitor. I called Tech Support from MSI and after explaining what was happening, I was told to return it to have it fixed or to get my money back. I went to the store and decided to give it another chance, thinking that it would be highly unlikely that I would get another damaged computer. I had it exchanged and they told me the new one would arrive in the mail 3 days from that day, it actually arrived a day earlier, which surprised me. I received the new desktop and unpacked it carefully, checked for any loose plugs or wire connections. Everything seems well plugged in, so I connect the power cable and pressed the power button and... NOTHING!. The darn thing was DOA. It is sad how a computer that has so much potential has turned out to be such a piece of junk. Speaks very badly about what MSI has been doing lately about quality control.

Mid-entry Gaming Rig
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reasonable price for what comes with it. Although AMD’s green screen with Windows, after tinkering a bit, problem was fixed. AMD chips are better with AMD graphics than with NVIDIA, so it was perfect. MSI did a good job with the build. It stays cool even under heavy loads and stays decently quiet.

Great deal during the chip shortage.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1st one had a bad gpu I found out after I had to re-sit the cpu and cooler. Then moved the ram dims to different slots to get it to boot. 2nd one came 100% working no issues, bith had cheaper power supply without switch but worked fine. Would recommend upgrading that psu though.

Bought 12 and 3 of them worked out of the box.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought twelve of these computers on 5/17. Best Buy was quick with delivery so that is a plus…. But then I tried to turn the computers on. 3 of the 12 turn on out of the box. So far I have got 4 running because I took the cpu off and put it back on. I knew these computers were risky due to the rating but my goodness. This is a scenario where I know this is Msi fault but also Best Buy should just delist the product. At the end of the day I will be fixing these myself due to how hard it is to get computers right now. Extremely dissatisfied and would feel like we should be compensated for the struggles we have with these computers. I will more than likely call msi tomorrow to see if they have any kind of way to rectify the issue.

Bought 2; Both DOA
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If there was a 0/10, that would be my rating for this computer. We ordered this for our son for Christmas. There was very little instruction on how to set up the computer. As soon as we set it up, it would not turn on. We replaced it with the exact same computer and had the exact same problem. There was NO ON SWITCH, so the power button would not work on either one. Tech support wanted me to send a brand new computer to California for warranty work. We opted to get our money back and get a different computer altogether.

Just verify it works and it will serve you well
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I went to buy a PC for work, I needed a gaming PC to run Civil 3D. Due to COVID and everyone buying PCs for school, work etc. This was the only PC available at the time. The store clerk adviced me not to purchase this computer since it had horrible reviews. I needed the PC A.S.A.P. so I couldn't wait to get it shipped to me and risked buying it. Like in most of the reviews, the PC came DOA. I had to return it the next day and funny enough, there was another person returning the same PC as well. I didn't want a refund, I wanted the PC, since I needed it. I asked the clerk to turn the new PC on before I took it home, so we knew it worked. Ever since then I have been a happy customer. The PC works better than expected. If you are considering purchasing this PC, I highly recommend that the clerks verify it's working, before taking it home.

DOA
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was dead on arrival just received it today not sure if it was the motherboard or psu it wouldn't power on now waiting a few more day for the replacement was really hoping to be playing cyberpunk 2077 this weekend. Only thing is the psu was delta 80 plus bronze non modular psu which I didn't like but i would replace with a full modular one. I'll re write an updated review once I get the replacement.

STOP DONT BUY THIS CRAP!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dead on arrival. Called MSI tech support. No help. Took it back to bestvuy for refund. I thought it was a fluke so ordered second one. Again dead on arrival. Stay CLEAR of MSI and this ZS model. I would give negative stars if possible. Buyer beware! Run! Run away! Burning your money is more full filling than wasting your money on this PC!

Very bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all I’d like to give it a 0/5 but i can’t. There’s so many reasons but I’ll just list a few. All the circuits were fried and it would not connect to the monitor. I’m assuming this was because of the GPU. I bought a new pc and it connected perfectly well. Upset because the Best Buy representative highly suggested this when it literally has no reviews.

Not so great - did not work out of the box
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this and it would not work. I called the manufacturer - and they did answer and tried to help me. In todays environment of Covid 19, just answering is a bonus to me! They believed that the graphics card was not "seated" properly and walked me through opening up the case and trying to re-seat it. That is NOT what I wanted to be doing. And when I felt the card and the other components - they all liked and felt cheap. But I guess that is what I should expect as the cheap price is why I bought it. Reseating the graphics card did not work. They told me to either return it to BestBuy or they would fix it under warranty. I chose to return it and I bought a much better computer - although also about 80% more costly.

DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't buy this! It's been a constant headache. Unless you plan on browsing the internet only it's a wast of time. Ive gone through every setting and it sometimes works with games. It loads them and crashes constantly. That leads to restating the computer, re adjusting settings, and then having it crash again. If you're low on money and this seems like a good deal then stop and save for another month before you waste your time.

MAKE SURE YOU POWER CABLE IS PULLEDALL THE WAY IN!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks like I was one of the lucky ones to recieve a unit that functions properly. I have had two small issues. First my windows 10 wouldn't update to the most recent version and kept failing the final update, this was easily fixed by doing a windows 10 reinstall. Second, even though the gpu shows that it was up to date with drivers it did not have official amd drivers installed and the msi drivers caused a green screen on my gaming monitor while gaming and watching netflix. This is a common issue with msi gpus running their software, I highly recommend installing the 5600xt drivers from the amd website that will replace the existing drivers. Finally I see alot of people questing the psu on this unit. I recieved a delta 550w 80bronze psu with no i/o switch on the back. This unit doesnt offer one with that unit. The size seems small traditionally however the amd CPU and gpu and extremely power efficient and wont require more power. MAKE SURE YOUR POWER CABLE IS PLUGGED IN ALL THE WAY!!!!! This psu is makes it seem like it's in all the way but you gonna apply a little force before it will go in all the way and make a proper connection.

Needed bios flashed, but plays like a champ
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would be 5 starts, but arrived DOA... simple bios flash later it is running like a champ. I did upgrade the tower cooler to a cooler master 240 all in one water cooler which has pushed the clock speeds to well over 4ghz with amd auto OC turned on in bios. Great computer for the money considering the rx 5700xt is going for over $800 by its self due to global GPU shortages.

Awful never again will I buy msi
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Came with incorrect psu. Took it back to Best Buy hoping the psu was bad and they would swap it out. They did and still no power. Msi has completely dropped the ball quality. The case itself was not level and wobbled significantly. Only good thing they did was package it well to protect a already broken pc

Just like the others
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping that this far into the issue, they would have fixed it by now. Why is Best Buy still selling these!? Ordered 1 unit online, Dead on Arrival. Brought it back tot he store and had another shipped to store. Geek Squad unpacked and checked the replacement unit, same deal. Dead on arrival. I’ve returned for a refund and decided to order the iBuyPower model that is slightly better spec for another $100. Fingers crossed, seems the reviews on that model are far better. Don’t try to be the lucky one with this MSI, look elsewhere for a budget gaming PC.

Gaming PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son loves this PC. The memory, graphic card, and speed are better than we initially planned but we upgraded to this because the other PC we ordered was on back order. It was more expensive than we wanted but I think he will be happy in the long run with a better product.
