I've always bought either Toshiba or Asus ROG but after having to return my newest Asus sure to it being out for service more than home I picked this up as the price was almost too good to pass. I've pushed this little guy hard trying to see if I could bottle neck it under various stress tests but have not seen anything that would stop me from recommending this to others. One note though is as of the current BIOS firmware 4800 is the max RAM speed and putting anything faster will cause it not to post

great little laptop

I found this one and I have to say it does all the things that I needed it to while also allowing him to play the game that he wants to play. The ability to upgrade the storage with an M.2 was also very helpful. shipped this bad boy to Australia and will most likely be getting another one for my daughter.

Not very powerful; terrible speakers

A gaming laptop needs both a playable framerate and sound to be played properly.
