Customers are pleased with the Bravo 15's performance, RAM, graphics capabilities, and keyboard. Many appreciate its affordability and the quality of the display. However, some users point to the short battery life and noticeable fan noise as drawbacks. The weight of the laptop and the sound quality of the speakers also received some negative feedback.

This my second replacement!! Battery life is not existent, my son has to keep it plugged up at all times. It continuously runs hot and crashes. We have keep a desk fan on it to keep it cool. Thus product us not worth the money even if its on sale!

Very nice entry-level gaming PC

The MSI Bravo is a very nice entry-level gaming PC that has enough power to play most modern games, but mostly at lower settings. This particular notebook comes with a Ryzen 7-7735HS, Radeon 6550M graphics, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and a 1080p, 144hz 15 inch screen. These are all on the low-end of gaming hardware, but enough to play most modern games. The notebook itself feels very well made and is aesthetically pleasing while not being an in-your-face gaming notebook. I particularly like the keyboard, which lights up, as is expected with a gaming notebook, but it also highlights the WASD keys, which any seasoned gamer doesn't really need, but it just adds a nice little touch. What also surprised me with the keyboard is that they cram a full 10-key number pad in there in addition to the full keyboard. The number pad is slightly smaller than full-size, but it is still very much appreciated. The keyboard itself is comfortable, and about what you would expect of most notebook keyboards. Getting to actual performance, I was pleasantly surprised. The specs being somewhat on the low end, I wasn't expecting much, but I was able to play every game I tried out. However, I did have to set many of the more modern games to low settings. The screen being 1080p I think helps with not pushing the graphics card too hard. If you are planning on connecting to an external monitor that is any higher resolution, I'd expect performance to drop significantly. As-is, I was able to play all my games at 60fps or above. For example, I tried Forza Horizon 5, on medium settings and was able to average around 100 fps. I tried a couple of less intensive platformers and I was able to set the settings a little higher and still achieve between 75-100 fps. I even booted up the 3DMark benchmarking tool and it scored about 5100, which is lower than I was expecting, but I attribute that to the 4GB of video memory. I would've preferred a 6GB or even 8GB card, but I guess they had to cut back to keep this notebook under $1000. Another place they cut back and I really wish they hadn't was the SSD. Only being 512GB, this thing can fill up pretty quickly depending on the games you install. Forza alone was over 100GB. In this day and age, I wouldn't expect anything less than 1GB on a gaming notebook. I was really disappointed with this. However, that was one of the only real gripes I had with this notebook. Everything else was perfect for what this particular notebook is, and that is an entry-level notebook for someone looking to get into PC gaming while staying under $1000. I would definitely recommend if you fall in to that category. Just be prepared to bring an external drive, or install and install games a lot :-P

This laptop was probably the worst purchase I could’ve made with the money I had. It overheats in about 3 minutes while having chrome open. Which leads to the fans kicking on and sounding like it’s literally going to take off from my desk. It crashes more than a 10 year old MacBook. One night I had 3 crashes in a row while working on premiere. The project was not intensive at all. Make sure you have headphones as well because you can’t hear Jack on these speakers especially if the fan is on. Last but not least. Keep the charger with you at all time. You’ll get about 40-45 minutes of work before you have to plug it up. I urge you to go with another laptop.
