This computer is great for a day to day use as well as gaming. Although this is not a professional gaming computer, it is great for that person that is just being introduced to the gaming world. It has 16 GB of ram which is more that enough space for storage. This computer I use mostly for day to day task but mostly for school work. I love the design that is on it. It makes it look sleek and sophisticated. This is a very budget friendly computer for school, budgeting and gaming alike. it is a fairly sturdy computer and it has a soft typing fell to it in which I love. I cools down quickly and the battery life is sufficient for what you are using it for. One of the things Noticed is that the CPU is quite strong. For the price of this computer I wold recommend getting it for your college student or even or the daily task for everyday use. You can’t go wrong with this computer for the price. Now keep in mind this is good for a beginner gamer and not really the for the professional gamer, I think you need a little bit more power.

MSI did a great job with this product. Great gaming Experience for the entry level gaming product this device is. Very energy efficient compared to old gaming laptops of the past. The screen is not the brightest but has great response time and is very snappy. I have not noticed any screen tearing or input lag. I had zero compatibility issues connecting this to an external monitor with freesync support. The battery does not last the longest when gaming if you are not plugged in. This is to be expected with gaming laptops though. If you have this in power save mode and are using it for basic desktop applications, I think if I were to use this in college or for work. I would still need to worry about carrying around the electrical cord for a necessary mid day charge. I have had no issues playing modern gaming titles like apex legends. Call of Duty MW2, The Witcher, CYBERPUNK 2077 in 1080p. With AMD FSR enabled, 1440p at 90+ FPS is very obtainable in all games I have thrown at it. If this is a device you are thinking about buying as a present. I would recommend taking the person intended to use the laptop to test out the keyboard in person. Keyboards are subjective to the user. This keyboard is nothing special. Some people may hate it. Keep that in mind. Also, Dont expect much form the onboard audio.

The MSI Bravo 15 has a good performance for a mid-range gaming laptop. It can handle most modern games at 1080p resolution with high settings. The laptop also has a 144Hz display, which is ideal for fast-paced games with fast moving camera angles. It is a bit on the bulky side, but it is still fairly portable. It weighs 5.2 pounds and is 0.9 inches thick. This makes it a bit heavier than some other gaming laptops, but it is still light enough to be carried around in a backpack. Other goodies on the laptop includes an HDMI port, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, and an audio jack. This makes it easy to connect the laptop to a variety of peripherals. It also has a backlit keyboard, which is helpful for gaming in low-light conditions. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, but it is a bit shallow for my taste, I am worried that in the future and all the abuse I am going to lay on this laptop the keys will stick. No signs of that now and I have played at least 30 hours of Mass Effect already so maybe it won't happen. I recommend this for an average PC gamer. I feel like the advance bunch might want more specs but this laptop gets the job done, highly recommended.

Great Gaming For Most Players

I have always liked the gaming laptops that MSI has produced in the past. The laptops always had a nice. futuristic look that just screamed “Gamer”. It may have placebo effect, but gamers who used them seemed like they had an advantage. I can’t say with the MSI Bravo 15.6” Gaming Laptop that your gaming will be better or that your KDR will increase, but I can say that you will look great while playing.
As with previous MSI laptops, the look is unmistakable gaming. The casing is not at perfect 90-degree angles. With a slight angle here and there, it has an extra special look of style. The blue backlit keys on the keyboard just give a nice aesthetic look to the system. Even the font on the keys is designed to look futuristic. The direction keys are highlighted differently so that you can easily find them while gaming.
The native system has a 1920 x 1080 Full HD display. The display is attractive, and the colors are rich. The refresh rate is 144 hertz which works great for gaming. I didn’t notice any real lag in gaming. The Radeon RX GPU works great in this setup. If you want to hook up to an additional monitor, the system does include an HMDI output. In addition, the system has outputs for 4 USB connections. There is even an included Ethernet jack built in so that you may have wired gaming for the best connections.
When all these features come together, the real question is how it works in gaming. The MSI Bravo is not lacking in this department. The gameplay was smooth and enjoyable. Fortnite and Rocket League both were very smooth and not jumpy. Shooter games were easy to play. Even just using the laptop screen was great. I had no problems in this department.
If there was a complaint with the system, I wish it had a bit more internal storage. While the SSD is great for speed, the 512 GB was not enough. The Windows 11 operating system takes up a portion of that too. If you do a lot of gaming, this storage can be taken up quickly. It would also be nice to have a 4k screen, but you have the option to hook up a monitor with the HDMI connection.
In the end, I really enjoyed the MSI Bravo 15.6” Gaming Laptop. The gameplay was lively and looked great. The native storage was the only thing really keeping from giving it all 5 stars. I wanted to have more for my needs. I still highly recommend this gaming laptop for gamers. While the world class gamers may want more, this should work for many novice and casual gamers.

Budget Friendly all AMD Gaming Laptop

The MSI Bravo 15 is a lightweight gaming laptop that is light on the pocketbook yet capable enough to provide decent gaming for most 1080P games. The laptop is an all-plastic build; however, it is very sturdy and durable. Coming in under 5 lbs., this 15.6" gaming laptop is light enough to take with you in your favorite backpack and provide hours of gaming on the go.
Powered by the new Ryzen7 7735HS AMD CPU with 16GB of DDR5-4800Mhz RAM, a dedicated Radeon RX6550M Graphics Card with 4G GDDR6 Ram that will bring life to all your favorite games. The laptop comes from the factory with a 512GB PCIe SSD Gen 4 Hard Drive for storing all your applications and games.
The MSI Bravo 15 Gaming Laptop is fitted with a 3-Cell Battery and comes with a 180-Watt Power Adapter.
Unlike many budget gaming laptops in this class, the MSI Bravo 15 includes a 144hz 1920 x 1080 FHD IPS Display that provides decent color accuracy and brightness. At the top of the Display sits a pretty average 720p Webcam that will get the job done for the occasional Web chat, however the camera does not provide Windows Hello IR Login ability.
The keyboard is very good and has a nice tactile travel to it when typing. The backlighting is a single-color white with decent brightness to assist you in your late-night gaming sessions.
Rounding out the laptop is a decent number of ports to include a HDMI 2.1 Display port (rare to see on a budget laptop) 1x 3.2 Gen2 USB-C Port, 1 x USB-A 2.0 port, and 2 x USB-A 3.2 ports and finally you will find a 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
The real deal about this budget gaming laptop is it's fully upgradable with 2 x ram slots, which is upgradable to 64GB and 2 x M.2 PCIe slots for future upgrades.
If you want a well-rounded no nonsense pocket friendly gaming laptop that is upgradable, look no further than the MSI Bravo 15 for 2023

The first thing noticed when taking this out of the box was how heavily it is. It's thicker than I expected chassis and the overall feel doesn't seem to be of the best quality. The included power brick is on the large size and you will need it to charge, since this laptop has no USB- C charging option.
As for USB- C goes there is only one port on this and three USB -A, so not really up to date with the ports. It would have been better to have more C ports than A.
The laptop itself, as a gaming laptop, is decent for average gaming. The Ryzen 7 processor is surprisingly peppy, but the AMD Radeon EX 655CM Graphics Card probably isn't up to par with it. This results in graphics intensive games being too taxing on the system unless you turn down the quality. So it's best for basic games and general use, certainly not a blazing performer for serious gaming.
Other positives are the things such as the nice keyboard with number pad, backlit to look slick. The battery life seems very respectable. The fans keep the system cool and don't sound like a prop plane ready for take off. 512gb SSD is just enough, but would be nice to have 1tb. Screen resolution1920x1080 seems sharp and no noticeable blurring.
