A Beast of a card!

This car is big, check and make sure you have enough room for it in your case before buying it. It has a massive cooling system, 3 fans and almost all radiator fins, and cooling pipes. Overclocking is pretty simple using msi's afterburner software. The RGB lights are a great addition if you have existing RGB lights in your case. I does take up 2 1/2 rear slots, and I would recommend using some type of card support, it comes with one but, I didn't like how it uses extra slots for mounting. I use msi's Bolster for the extra support.

The MSI 2080 RTX is a beautiful, fast, video card. The frame rate this card puts out is amazing. It allows one to play games at QHD resolutions, without a hiccup. Make sure your pair this with a BEEFY system (i9-9900k/Z390 Chipset) to enjoy it's full potential. To add icing on to a delicious cake, the card has really cool RGB lighting effects. Get one NOW!

Upgraded to this from a Radeon RX580 since I wanted to play games at higher resolutions. This card is amazing. Runs much cooler than expected too. Looks great in my case. The ray tracing is a nice plus too. Not many games out there have that feature yet, but a ton are coming soon and they will look amazing with it. Great value at the sale price since the 2080 Super came out and made the non super cards drop in price. The value is in the non super cards for sure. For the small difference in performance, it’s not worth buying the Super version in my opinion. If you like high frame rates in 1440P or steady 60 or more frames in 4K on just about any title out there, this is a great choice.

GTX 1080 to RTX 2080

So as stated I upgraded to the RTX 2080, from a GTX 1080. So far this far handles 1440p 144hz like a champ. Most games I’m getting above 100 FPS on high sometimes ultra settings. I’m very happy with this card. The only draw backs are price, but that’s not really Best Buy’s fault. NVIDIA jacked the prices up, I just can’t constitute spending $1200-$1500 on a RTX 2080 Ti. Also this card is BIG. I had to reconfigure my AIO radiator and fans to accommodate it.

Rock solid investment! I've had this card running almost non-stop since I've bought it and (knock on wood) no issues so far! I did not OC the card and have kept it stock. The card gets air cooled and runs with no issues in games. I play almost all of my games in ultra or higher with no sign of slowing down. Best money I've invested in a while! MSI has definitely made themselves a repeat customer!

I bought this to go with my MSI Z390 pro carbon ac motherboard. I'm very happy with this and the motherboard. It runs cool and gets great FPS but I did come from a GTX 1070 so I should see a significant increase. The RGB setup works great too so it also just looks great in the case while its running. I run it with dual monitors and one of them being a 1440 with 144hz. I can really only comment as the difference makes the game play seem buttery smooth!

Super Amazing RTX 2080

This RTX 2080 was amazing and it looks pretty solid. Huge cooler and the weight of this card. OMG! I mean is one heavy graphic card and long. So it may not fit on many cases and you may run into the issue of the weight on your motherboard. It comes with a bar to support the weight but in my experience it didn't do a good job and so I was eventually force to return it As much as I like it and wanted the card it was just to dangerous for my build due to the weight. I had some odd behavior on my system graphic card and was not sure if it due to the pressure it was causing the system on the PCIe slot. You can also see the card kind of bending so my advice. If you can support this card well enough in your case. Then is worth picking one up for the price. Specially if you play in 1440p to 4k.

I bought 2 2080 FE's and then this... QC fail.

I bought two 2080 FE's b/c I thought they were better. The first FE wouldn't play half my games at all, which may have been a driver issue but I doubt it - returned. The Second FE I realized failed when my computer wouldn't boot - and it was powering my MB w/o cpu being on - returned. Finally I buy this, more expensive but the best option. I installed it and a week later I find a screw just chilling in the ES bag, I uninstall card and find it missing from the back plate and 3 more screws loose... I fixed that. Otherwise no problems and I would still recommend it over the 2080 FE IMO given my experience. Bad enclosed design for cooling. Buy a GPU brace or two, or both kinds as this is the largest card ever, but it hardly ever spins the fans except for games. Very quiet considering. The "Geforce" does not light up as bright as the "MSI" RGB lighting but this is normal - I saw it in a review as well. This card is huge and heavy and it does sag w/o proper bracing - buy that as well. Pretty Card with the RGB lighting but I have an Asus MB so they don't sync. Also, I was fortunate to have bought this during the holiday extended return policy, I would have been stuck with a broke 2080 FE otherwise as it failed after 1 month of use. Yay Best Buy.

In not a super gamer but this card is definetly worth it.
I would recommend this over the 1080 in regards to price to performance. The future will unlock ray tracing and let this card reach it's full potential.
It's a huge card. 13 inches long. Almost didn't fit in my case and I have a full case so check your case sizes.
Runs all games that I have tried on ultra and 1440p. With no issues.

This thing is a complete beast!!! I’m gaming at 4K just fine. I haven’t tried any of the newest RTX titles yet because I’m waiting for one that catches my interest. Yes it might be overkill for World of Warships, but until you see how splendid everything looks with absolutely every setting maxed out in 4K, then you’d understand it’s worth it

Not the highest end graphics card, but it more than holds its own against others. My son bought the 2080 and he gets a better FPS, but the benchmarks aren’t as high as I would have expected. Overclocking easily holds 4GHz.
For the price, I’m very pleased. It is a stable graphics card and handles any game I’ve thrown at it with max settings.

Great Video Board

The video board works very well, the colorful lights are nice (but were not important in my decision to purchase this board), and I am pleased with its performance. The only negative is that because of the size of the board, I lost one of my extra internal hard drive spaces - but this would be common for any of the new high performance boards.

1st card started having rattling noise in fan after two weeks. decided to give it another try- has been working perfect for 6-7 weeks now. paired with 1440 144hz. - ryzen 2600x
Super silent - max temps 70-71 with pubg and still silent.
about 120fps pubg and apex and maxes in CSGO -
still expensive at 680 but happy with purchase

This card has a zero rpm fan curve when its sitting idle. Its nice and quite, even when under a load its still pretty quite. Install was a breeze and the rgb lighting were easy to setup with my MSI mystic light. Over all great card, only con is the included anti-sag bracket does not completely take away all of the sag.

I upgraded from a MSI 1060 3GB card to the MSI - GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio. The performance is phenomenal. I can run the current games on high settings without overclocking the card. I expect that when the games are optimized to use the new features that the game play will be even better.

I'm using this on a gaming G-sync monitor 144hz 1440p and games run buttery smooth. I also use it for an Oculus Rift and there are no issues. The card runs cooler than my old Geforce 1080 FE too probably due to the 3 fans. It's a great purchase for the sale price I got it at.

Great graphics card. It’s pricey but was able to use a 10% coupon and MSI had a $20 rebate plus the 3 downloads for anthem, battlefield v, and metro so at least it was somewhat of deal. Able to run any current game on ultra no problem. Also, the RGB looks great.
