||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This graphics card provides notable performance gains over the previous generation 1080 cards. Games are able to keep 60+ fps at 4k resolution typically with no problem. Thermals are great at 4k as well. Paired with an overclocked 5ghz core i5 9600k with 16gb of corsair vengeance lpx ram, I did not see any bottlenecks as long as setting were set to ultra 1440p or higher. CPU and GPU utilization were at 90-100%. PROS 1. a delight to look at with customizable rgb 2. Thermals and Sound, quiet and cool 3. Triple Fan Design 4. GDDR6 memory 5. The overclocking capabilities is huge 6. Stock performance worth the upgrade CONS 1. Very heavy card: included is a bracket to hold the cards weight, this card will break your pci-e slot without support! 2. This card is twice as long as my old 1080, make sure you have enough clearance! 3. 2 1/2 slots needed

Great 1440p/144hz Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Currently using this card with a 9600K build and a 1440p/144Hz monitor. Could not be happier with the performance -- was able to OC the card 100 mhz on the core over the already OC'd clocks. The Mystic light RGB is a nice touch as well.

Perfect GPU for GAMERS!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this GPU for one month and it's doing its job perfectly. I'm playing every game at ultra settings with amazing graphics. It's cooling design is beyond my expectations and it's really silent. There's nothing to say about MSI quality.

Loving it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never had any problems with MSI. I've stuck with their motherboards and graphics cards. My previous setup was with i7 6700k msi z170 gaming 7 motherboard and a msi 1070. I swear their graphics cards are built like a tank. I upgraded to ryzen build with 3700x and msi b450 tomahawk motherboard and msi 2080. Bios flashbacked motherboard to new bios for gen 3 ryzen cpu and everything working perfectly set up ddr4 3600mhz ram with xmp and overclocked cpu. All my games on ultra 1080p and running 4k high settings

AN ABSOLUTE UNIT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is huge, be sure to triple check your case clearances before making a move on this card. The card physically takes up 2 slots, but the cooler extends down to the third. With that out of the way lets get to the pros/cons: Pros: - Massive cooler, great thermal performance - ~60-65c under load with my OC settings - my card hits just shy of 2000MHz boost, stable, after tweaking settings in MSI Afterburner - tasteful RGB implementation, not over the top - absolute monster at 1440P, able to max out all settings, save for RTX, on games and hit over 110FPS in BFV & Witcher 3 - great quality VRM - MSI MysticLight is intuitive and easy to use, MSI Afterburner is great as well Cons: - price to performance just isn't really there at MSRP, a definite buy on sale though (4-star rating because of this) - included accessories are sparse, just a support bracket with a cheesy catch phrase screen printed on and a PCIe cable converter dongle - some PCB level components omitted on this card that other competing vendors include on theirs. Would really add value if those were implemented (check out YouTube for video breakdowns of this card to see what I mean here). Overall this is a great GPU that offers good performance. Coming from a GTX 1080, having this card is a night-and-day difference. This card is a definite buy on sale or if you just can't wait to upgrade.

Q: QuestionWill this graphics card fit in a Micro Atx case?
Asked by ChildishD.
- A:Answer You'll have to measure to be sure, but I can almost guarantee no. This card barely fits inside full sized cases; it is much longer than Nvidia's reference card.

Q: QuestionI read that the GTX 1080 Gaming X Trio came with an optional brace to add support. It sounded like it took up an additional slot. Will this card also come with hat, or has additional support/bracing been built in? Its heavier than the older generation.
Asked by Babel17.
- A:Answer I've seen a few reviews now, and it does come with the brace. A couple of reviewers said they didn't think it was necessary though, and one reviewer put a laser on it to determine that there was no sag. The built in reinforcement was noted, and apparently works well.

Q: QuestionHow do I install the gpu bracket that came with the card?? It was not listed in the directions and there is nothing that I can find online about it. Just was hoping to eliminate gpu sag.
Asked by Install.
- A:Answer Oh yeah that GPU bracket is a pain to install, over-sized, and is half worthless as it only helps the sag and can't alleviate it. Buy 2 extra braces aftermarket and your good to go. Did my best to install the original that it shipped with like I said that thing is half worthless.

Q: Questionanyone know how to get the 2 free games? I just bought this from my local Best Buy and can't figure it out.
Asked by Vafaskillz.
- A:Answer If you bought it in store I believe there should have been codes on your receipt.. you may need to reach out to customer service if you didn’t get them

Q: QuestionDoes it come with an sli bridge?

- A:Answer No it does not. You will need to buy it separately
