Price is great. I’m most excited about the six plus options for the backlit keyboard. Overall runs much better than the laptop I had and I’m satisfied.

This MSI gaming laptop is very good. With top grade hardware throughout, and great keyboard layout, it's best in it's class. My only constant thoughts are, this should have been issued with 32GB memory instead of 16GB. I mean we're well into the 21st century, with all the demands of Hi-res photography/video with huge files and working with photoshop extensively as well as gaming and video's,....this excellent computer laptop is just begging for 32GB memory upgrade. C'mon MSI, do the right thing

Bought this machine looking for something light, powerful, and reliable. Pros: Beautiful keyboard. Full number pad. Runs quiet and doesn't heat up very much while gaming. Cons: Burns a hole in the wallet. Limited drive space. Overall, I am very content with the selection I made. I wanted a quality product that would potentially last me many years and I think this this will do. I intend on upgrading the machine with extra SSD to keep up with gaming needs.

We bought it for my wife that does some designs, works with 3D objects and programs. Performance is amazing. CAD programs fly now comparing to previous laptop. Bigger screen helps too. Also it's slim and light for 17" laptop. Think old 15" was heavier. And it looks fantastic! Sale price was good and for some reason BestBuy gave us additional $200 when we pick it up. It was a pleasant surprise.

I'm happy with it right now. No real issues. Thermals are ok. Also do the math if you can't decide between a 2080 or a 2070. I just added a 1tb Samsung 970 evolution plus for $250. The ram I might expand to 32gb. That will be another $100. I'd doesn't have gsync which I should of looked at othe laptops for. But it does just fine with out it.

This is my second MSI laptop. What you get for the price is fantastic. The specs are very good. Curiously the laptop only has one 16 gb stick of ram. Guessing that’s for power consumption. You can easily upgrade that, as well as the storage. The screen is beautiful, and clear. The laptop seems solidly built. One issue I have with it is typing can be irritating. The gigantic mousepad is strangely placed, and my palms will sometimes awkwardly hit it, and it won’t catch all that I’m typing. But other than that, so very good.

very fast computer with all the bells and whistles

So far I really like the computer, it feels small for the large size of the screen. I like how the keyboard feels, the large touch pad is nice when not using a mouse, but I usually connect my wireless mouse when doing long sessions. Anyway overall pleased.

This laptop is powerful , fast, quiet, and smooth.

Very good gaming laptop. It has a good mesh of mobility and performance. Slim and lightweight for the size of the display. The display itself is much better than other laptops around it in the store. The keyboard and touchpad are top notch and what you would expect from one of the worlds best laptop manufacturers.

Overall I loved the design of the laptop. It’s beautiful and impossibly thin and light. I adore the keyboard backlighting. The one thing I didn’t like was the mousepad was centered in the middle of the laptop, not underneath the spacebar, which is right where my palm went while typing. It also had a couple of issues playing a new game on high settings - but it’s possible the issues were caused more by glitches in the game than issues with the laptop. Overall it is an incredible pleasure to own.

Good buy and nice look to it! A little hard to clean under the keyboard, but overall have enjoyed the laptop so far.
