I've had this computer for about 10 months now and DO NOT recommend it. While the screen is huge and the keyboard is decent, other parts of the machine have been disappointing. The case is definitely flimsier than I'd like, it dents easily and the paint is rubbing off already (under light use). The headphone jack has never worked properly and the power adapter now buzzes and crackles when plugged in. When I contacted MSI Support, I was informed that the warranty on the laptop is 12 months, but only 6 months for the power adapter, and they recommended that I buy another adapter from them for $160. I'm sorry, but $160 every 6 months for a $2000 laptop is ridiculous. I'd recommend Razer or a Macbook for better quality.

returned it and bought surface book pro! great start up laptop. but cloud is the future. I game from work. learn how to port forward you Xbox from home. lost of you tube videos to help!

Just received the laptop today and I am having a blast using this machine. Plenty of features along with a beautiful look packed into a thin powerful laptop make this a top choice for any gaming enthusiast.

Pros: Seriously, it's a sexy machine. The keyboard feels great, it plays games at max settings, it's a pleasant screen to look at Cons: THESE FANS ARE SCREAMING, the computer gets HOT, the mousepad is freaking enormous and overtriggers (not an issue for me, I use a trackball peripheral and disable the pad), the speakers are quiiiiiet

This is the first gaming laptop I’ve owned. I haven’t pushed it to its limits but it plays the games I like with ease. (CS:GO) Regular applications open quickly and run flawlessly.

Beautiful screen, good for gaming as well as daily work. Easy on eyes for the high refresh rate. Once got used to 17inch, 15 inch looks much smaller than before :)

I am a professional photographer/ videographer. I needed a computer that would easily handle Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere. This does that and more.

This laptop is amazing, though it is pricey, but you get what you pay for. I Have always been a fan of MSI products and they never disappoint.

I bought this to use for daily computing, as well as VR on the go, I have samsung odyssey, and play-ability was ok but not great. I found that most uses cause shuttering and dizziness.

Its a nice set up for a gaming laptop. Only down side is the smaller hard drive but that's to be expected being in the middle of MSI's line up. Ran a few different games on it even on WIFI and it has no real issue running them.

Msi is a great brand and this laptop shows how they have built they're reputation. Great laptop cant complain.

I love this laptop. Best decision I ever made. Only reason for the 4 stars was the upgrade potential. Had to pull the whole board out to upgrade the RAM. Other than that, it's awesome!

Having used this laptop for almost two weeks now, I feel confident in giving my views on my MSI GS75. PROS: - Design: Very clean, minimalistic design and tasteful gold accents around the laptop to let people know it means business. - Build Quality: Although some youtubers claim that the build quality of the MSI GS75 seemed 'flaccid', mine is quite the opposite. Almost zero-flex on my unit. The laptop feel very nice and light with its metal build. - Display: Very bright and vibrant. 144Hz refresh rate makes everything look super smooth. No backlight bleed at all on my unit. The 17.3 inch screen in a 15 inch package is awesome. - Performance: With a six-core i7 processor and an RTX 2070 Max-q, this laptop runs any game currently with ease. And with future driver updates, I suspect the 2070 Max-q will be even better. - Battery Life: Amazed to see a gaming laptop packing this much power is able to get 5-6 hours of normal use throughout the day. Very handy as I am a college student who needs the best of both world. - Keyboard/Mouse: Typing experience is great. Fancy per-key RGB lighting that can be customized. Touchpad also feels great. Though your palms may touch the touchpad when typing, never really had an issue. CONS: - Cooling: While playing Apex Legends, Graphic settings on a bit below High, Cooler Boost fan mode active, my CPU temps were 85-95c. Scary high numbers but never experienced thermal throttling. Maybe future BIOS/EC/etc updates will fix the issue. - Speakers: Really great playing high end sound but doesn't do so well with low end. Not packing as much punch as I wanted but since I use headphones 90% of the time, I'll let it slide. - Only a single stick of ram included inside unit. Though one stick of ram does help with lower energy consumption, dual channel memory can provide an FPS boost in gaming. Have yet to find a teardown video on how to upgrade RAM in a MSI GS75. OVERALL: Definitely a great buy. Can't go wrong with a 5lb, 17.3" thin and light laptop that packs a RTX 2070 max-q and big battery. I have no doubts that this machine will last buyers many years to come.

Bought for my husband to upgrade his gaming experience. He absolutely loves this!

Excellent laptop--ease if use, lighted keys, visible screen--for the price.

The computer starts up fast and our applications open quickly also.
