Customers often highlight the impressive performance and sleek design of the GS Series Stealth 17.3" Gaming Laptop, along with its large screen size and relatively light weight for its power. However, some users mention that the laptop can get warm under heavy use and that the fans can be noticeable. Other potential drawbacks include battery life and the sound quality of the speakers.

2,200 is the price listed on the sight and on the store. this does not include taxes and other very important things like word which will end up costing you about 2,700 i bought the RTX2070 version with the 512 SSD. its really good coming from a mac. the computer is very fast and relatively friendly to people who don't know computers. graphics are unreal yes its not the RTX2080 which you can get for about 800 more from retail price or like 300 if you buy Microsoft word [lifetime] and pay taxes but then it will still rise above 3,000. never the less its a very good computer its very big so do decide weather you want to compromise mobility for speed in gaming it wont fit all normal backpacks so you will need to get a carrying case or something else. if you want mobility go with the GS65 the smaller version. performance wise you do get a lot for the money its fast the 144 Hz screen is amazing and will play every game you may ever want to play and if your storage gets full i asked and the people at geek squad will add another SSD to your computer for more capacity so id recommend to buy the 512 SSD gs75 and if later you do need more storage add on it you can also do it yourself but at your own risk. overall battery life is good not amazing def not the 8 hours unless you are in Eco mode and only using word I have gotten 7 hours like that but if you play you'll get 4 or so. one small detail is that when typing you may hit your wrist with the track pad and click it so take that into consideration when typing. overall I am happy with my purchase. its fast, good looking, and is something not everyone has unlike the mac i used to have that was everywhere.

Excellent performance in a Thin and Light

This laptop exceeds expectations for a device with such an amazing form factor. Thermals are kept surprisingly well in check with MSI only allowing the CPU to hit low 90s for a few seconds before it calms down to the mid 70s while maintaining clock speeds well above the base 2.2 GHz. GPU seems to always maintain temperatures in the mid 70s. The most impressive part of this machine has to be its screen. It has amazing color accuracy, thin bezels, and the refresh rate coupled with good pixel response times makes for a great experience all around.

Great and Powerful Laptop

I enjoy gaming and don't have the ability to have a desktop due to work and travel. This is the best of both worlds, upgraded from and Alienware to this MSI and I'll never go back.
This laptop is not only more powerful, but it has a better screen and smaller footprint and it's lighter. Weight means a lot when you spend most of your time walking around an airport trying to catch your next flight.
My only issue, and the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is the fact that you have to break the factory seal in order to install a SSD. Since the computer comes with extra slots, I feel you shouldn't have to break the seal to use these slots.
All in all I would still recommend this laptop for anyone who is looking for a good gaming laptop!!!

This laptop is an amazing piece of technology. Its hard to believe that so much power is crammed into such a thin device.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. Only thing that I wish this laptop came included with a dual channel memory setup. It includes one stick of 16gb, but the manual says there are two channels available. It would have been awesome if they went with 2x8 instead of 1x16, but I am still happy with performance. I plan to upgrade later.

I've never owned a laptop like this and was worried I would regret replacing my old desktop with something like this, it so far I'm very happy with it!
Pros: +Good keyboard (I normally hate chiclet keyboards but the one on this machine actually pretty nice to type on.)
+Runs games beautifully
+Trackpad is very wide and feels good to use
+Doesn't get too hot while gaming. (The default fan curve is a bit low, though. You will have to adjust it. The hottest I ever see the CPU get after adjustments to the curve is about 75C.)
+Plenty of I/O
Cons: - Only takes M.2 drives and those aren't cheap. (I got two extra 512GB cards but still went through that very fast and have been carrying around a 4TB external HDD to supplement it.)
-Speakers are only passable.

I am coming to this from using Mac for about 10 years now. Switching to PC on this powerhouse machine is fantastic! I love how much more memory, hard drive space and overall performance it has over my last laptop. The color changing keys are especially awesome! I got this mostly for heavy photo and video editing work but am also glad to now have an excellent PC for gaming.

High performance, sturdy design

This laptop is ideal if graphics is priority -- The 2070 is an excellent piece of hardware and can render the newest games at highest settings with ease. Excellent for use in CUDA programming e.g. machine learning as well. 6 core/12 thread CPU.
I was disappointed to find that the construction, while sturdy, is plastic and not machined aluminum like some of the other/cheaper MSI GS models. That however is my only real complaint. Overall it is a great and reliable device and I've come to trust MSI over most laptop manufacturers.
The power supply is 230W and obviously heavier than typical laptop PSU's which may be relevant for travel.
The display is very bright and very beautiful.
The hard-drive came with several preallocated partitions. The main C was ~280GB and there was a separate one D for some reason called "Data" with about ~180GB. This seems like a pointless separation to me -- I just merged them with an allocation tool (EaseUS). Also, there is another partition with about 25GB used which I think holds MSI proprietary stuff. This is a little annoying to me as I prefer a clean system with minimal bloatware. There is another boot partition that's ~1GB which is typical of Windows OS.
The effective result is that you really only have ~480GB available for your stuff, not 512GB.
It has 5G WiFi and efficient bluetooth functionality.
It comes with a trial of MS Office and Norton antivirus. I removed Norton and use LibreOffice, which is free/open source.
The programmable backlit/reactive keys are very cool but available in cheaper models as well.

I have had the laptop for about a month now and had zero problems. Runs Apex legends in high setting runs smoothly. The fans are a little loud but with headphones i don't hear it. The track pad is big and my right hand sometimes touches. Just nit picking issues. Overall an amazing laptop that hopefully is future proof.

Overall a solid gaming laptop. The keyboard is well spaced and comfortable, with good key feel. It runs quiet and reasonably cool, even if it does get pretty hot and loud when under full load, but no more than other thinner gaming laptops. The screen is bright and colorful, and the trackpad is nice and well placed.
I would give it a perfect review but there is a bit of flex to the casing and screen. Nothing that makes me worry about longevity but I know that is a big issue for some.

Reviewed many laptops and went with the MSI GS75 and I am having an excellent experience. Pure power with a non bulky laptop to run games with high graphics. Fan does get a little loud but that is expected. Would definitely go with MSI again for gaming laptops.

This laptop is amazing, I had previously owned an Alienware m17 and it got a dead pixel within a month and also crashed using MATLAB 4 times. The Computer was not even able to play Killer Instinct correctly. The game kept freezing and it kept telling me to lower my settings. Thankfully I was able to swap it out with this MSI and now I don't have any issues. This MSI was a life savor. I mainly use it for school but I needed a high powered computer to run some fancy applications such as MATLAB and AutoCAD. This bad boy does it beautifully.

I had got into gaming on laptops back in 2012 when I bought a MSI GT-70. I loved that laptop and got so much use out of it. Once it had died on me, I had to settle on a cheaper laptop as I was finishing grad school. I now have treated myself to this laptop, and boy was it a great purchase. It is so much sleeker than my old MSI, but it runs games just as smoothly, if not smoother. The graphics are gorgeous. My concern before purchasing was that since it was a lot slimmer, cooling would be an issue. But with the updated technology, it stays cooler than my old laptop did. This is a very sleek, professional looking "sleeper" of a pc. I would gladly recommend this laptop to someone who wants to have the ability to run pretty much any game they desire.

Top 5 Best Gaming Laptop

After several months of researching gaming laptops, I chose the MSI GS75 Stealth-093 based on the high-end specs (won't need to upgrade and it should run anything and everything), design, and reviews. I could not be happier with my choice for the following reasons: Prime 2-day delivery, triple boxed for protection, nicely packaged from MSI, beautiful 17" display, SteelSeries Engine 3 MSI Per Key RGB Keyboard (multi-color back lit keyboard with different colors and lighting options), easy to type, track pad works great with lots of features, boot time is short and everything runs incredibly fast even with the highest game settings, and thin and light with a small form factor and the MSI utility software is excellent and very useful. The build and design quality are exceptional.
Let me address some comments from other reviewers that may be helpful. Please consider that not every laptop can be perfect for everyone. The laptop has a high-end processor and dedicated graphics, so it will get need to circulate the air to cool down the electronic components. You will hear the fans when they run during heavy gaming to cool the high end CPU and graphics card, but it's not obnoxious. The speakers are good considering the laptop is extremely thin and light, but some may expect better. Although MSI reduced the thickness of the power adapter it would be nice if it was smaller. The bloatware is extremely minimal, which I very much appreciated (removed a few games that were probably bundled with Windows 10). I find the screen opens and closes very smooth with the right amount of tension and the hinges are very sturdy. The really bad 1 star reviews appear to be fake, probably from a competitor.
I will update this review as I put in more time gaming and running other applications. At this point, I am 100% satisfied with the MSI GS75 Stealth laptop.
