If you have the money buy this card. Works like a champ. Not silent but also not loud at all. Pretty big card so make sure you have room for it. 60 fps at 4k max (gears 5, and other recent games) haven't seen it fall below 58. Love the upgrade it gave my rig!

Overall great gpu. If you do OC it can get fairly loud which is expected, but if you use a headset you won't hear a thing. Great for 1080p and 1440p gaming. Getting 110+fps @1440p high settings. Definitely recommend this if you are getting into 1440p gaming and can't or don't wanna spend extra on a 2080 super.

Great card for the money. Works much better than my 1060 with the Oculus VR setup I have. You can also overclock and it will run as good as a 2080. I recommend this to anyone for gaming and graphics software.

I picked up a 5700XT which compares favorably against this card at a hundred fifty dollars cheaper, but random games on that card just... didn't work properly. Yakuza Kiwami kept hanging the system, a build that up to this point has had Nvidia graphics (1650 Super, another hot bang for buck card) and performed flawlessly, if not a bit lackluster at 1440p. Did FULL driver removal, everything short of re-installing the OS, which let's be real... wasn't gonna happen. Not wanting to know what games would not have proper driver support in the future, or games I would run into from the past with similar issues, I went back to green, and it's winning in a big way.
Two things: Not much sense in going bigger than this, unless you NEED another 7fps in 4K gaming. The price for a card that'd be able to perform marginally better than this, enough to throw money at, cost around $1200 in comparison. Bang for buck, this is the card you want. I mean, the 5700xt is the card you REALLY want, but if it doesn't work well, why bother? Just go with the guys who (usually) get it right Day One.
Second thing, only mildly related: Don't sweat the CPU. I'm running an 8600K from Intel, which gets equal performance to the 9100F from Intel, which is an $80 CPU. Spending another $500 on your CPU will net you approximately... four FPS on the high end for gaming, so unless you're transcoding video files for your Youtube channel you will never see the difference between a $80 CPU and a $550 CPU, as long as you're running 8th Gen or higher. Similarly I bet you'd get banging performance out of an equally priced Ryzen; just get up to speed, don't worry about throwing half a grand into your CPU because if you take the Pepsi Challenge, they both taste like Pepsi.
So yeah, buy this card. Doesn't have RGB bells and whistles, just rocks the FPS charts. All you can ask for really. Would be a no-brainer at $400, $500 hurts a bit but if you're looking to catch up and stay caught up for a couple more years, the buck stops here.

Upgraded to this bad boi from my 980ti and haven’t looked back since. Looks great, stays cool and quiet and bumped my star citizen FPS by 20. It’s been a “Best Buy” xD

I decided to go with the MSI 2070 super for my first gaming build, and it destroys everything I have to throw at it. MSI afterburner makes overclocking super easy and smooth and the fans keep the card cool through everything, including a 7 hour Virtual reality stream at 1080p. Highly recommend!

New to pc see, this is my first gpu. After reading many reviews on various different graphics cards and pricing, I decided to go with the msi GeForce rtx 2070 super. It’s not aesthetically pleasing as there is no rgb , but the performance amazes me. Playing various games over 200fps. Idles around 40-50 degrees c , and around 70-75 deg c during heavy load which is not bad at all. I just wish they added some rgb in the logos to kinda spice it up. But overall this gpu is worth the money for performance.

After reading multiple reviews on Radeon 5700 XT and various RTX 2070 “super”......I found this one at Best Buy (in stock). It was the same price as Amazon and Newegg (they’d match if it wasn’t anyway) and has the performance I was looking for in my price range (not going full-on 2080 TI.
It was GREAT.....playing RDR2 on a combination of High/Ultra settings and its running smooth as butter!
I was a little concerned about fan noise - hasn’t been an issue at all (in my opinion).

I'm not a gamer, so I can't speak to anything typical to that realm.
I use these as part of a GPU rendering solution for 3D work, and they are approximately equal to a 1080ti in terms of CUDA+clock-speed horsepower. Actually, on benchmark scenes, the 2070 Super does slightly better despite having fewer cores. BUT... their potential advantage in the built-in hardware raytracing is still not fully exploited.
I work primarily in Redshift3D, and their implementation of NVIDIA's "Optix RT" technology, which is the hardware raytracer-enabled denoising system, flat out stinks. This, according to them, is due to NVIDIA's footdragging with updates to their core libraries. It's buggy and prone to crashes. When it works, its value is highly situational. Sometimes it drastically improves render times, maybe up to 20%. Other times it actually increases render times.
On the other hand, iRay, which is NVIDIA's own branded GPU renderer, has phenomenal performance increases when using Optix RT which can be up to 50%!!! It is, of course, NVIDIA's own code, and to be fair, iRay is a much slower, cruddier renderer in general than Redshift.
Longwinded nonsense over, the bottom line is that for about $400 you can pick up a 1080ti used, and get 3 more GB or RAM and for me, the ease of a blower-style heatsink. The RAM size difference isn't trivial, as there is a frequent concern with fitting all textures into video RAM versus caching to RAM or disk. Both of these options drastically increase render times.
I own two of these in the hopes that the RT technology will move forward and be a real value at some point in the near future. I also own 4 1080Tis because they're cheaper and as or more capable for what I'm doing.
The MSI itself is a good card, not flashy, no LEDs, which again, for me, is unimportant. They perform well thermally and I don't experience any GPU-related flakiness other than the stuff described above. That has nothing to do with this card in particular, and everything to do with the relative immaturity of the RTX line.

Despite what other people are saying, this graphics card is actually pretty quiet, given I didn't do any overclocking. Sure, on initial startup, it whirs pretty loudly for a second or two, but during regular use and gaming, it never gets that loud. Very solid graphics card with no complaints so far. The text doesn't light up though, if that's your thing.

Don't let other reviews scare you, people seem to have unbelievably high expectations. The card is in no way loud or hot. It overclocks decently (I haven't added any voltage). The card runs around 70 degrees with the highest OC I can get out of it, and it isn't loud at all. It isn't water cooled quiet, but don't buy into the reviews that say it's loud.

Until the new series releases, this seemed to be the best bang for my buck, I upgraded from a GTX 960 to this and the performance increase for the price has been incredible, it has been enough of an upgrade to delay building new again for a while. I’d recommend if people don’t want to spend the 2080 money but want good performance.

This card (Nvidia 2070 SUPER) is right at the sweet spot, price-wise for the performance. The price goes way up for the next higher model whereas the performance doesn't. I like MSI's design and the 2 larger fans keep the GPU cool while being very quiet. There isn't a game I've tried that doesn't look awesome on this baby.
