Great Card with natural OC!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this card for 6 months and still no issues with it!!! And loving the OC even when fine tuned. Go for newer CPUs instead of previous, there’s gonna be CPU bottleneck so Ryzen 7800x or better or i7 13700k or better, but I would recommend and I might even get a water block for it!!!

I hate the price, I love the GPU
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, this card is insanely expensive but it is really good. If you're upgrading from the 30 series it is very noticeable both in terms of performance and the heat this thing puts out. This thing performs better than a 3090 and uses less power and sits at a cool 75ish degrees while max settings on 4k in the games I played on. I upgraded from the 3070 so its a huge bump up for me and if you're looking to just upgrade and forget about GPU's for the next few generations, this one is pricey but for me it was worth it. There are no RGB lights on this which is fine for me it looks nice in my setup regardless(which I rarely even see since it sits below my desk anyways). The frame generation this generation is pretty cool, it gives you more frames while in 4k which is great I recently was playing lords of the fallen at 4k getting about 110-120 fps and when it first released everybody was saying how bad the performance was and my game ran smooth with no hiccups or performance hits so idk if that says most people still game on older hardware or if I got a magical GPU lol but I will take it! In the end, do not buy this GPU if you can't afford it. You can get a cheaper used one on ebay if you're looking to upgrade from an even older generation than 30s and still get a nice boost but if you're looking at this i'm sure you've already made up your mind and are looking for validation to justify this big purchase you're about to do so I say just go for it. It runs perfect, it runs absolutely cool(my 3070 caused a heatwave in my room) and its always great to just click ultra settings on everything you play and not have to worry about it, even in 4k(unless the games not optimized). Oh also, be very careful with the mega plug for the power supply. You need to plug in 3 seperate PCI power cables into it, don't daisy chain 2 PCI cables that both run directly into 1 on your power supply and make sure to push the PCI cables in until you're 1000% sure it is secured because their cables aren't the greatest(they've enhanced them since the 3090's were melting) but the cause was people not fully plugging in the PCI power cables all the way. Make sure your pc is big enough to hold this monster(this GPU comes with a support bracket for GPU sag) and make sure you got some space between the power bracket and your glass panel because if that pushes too hard on the cable it could rip or pull it out enough for it to melt your cables. Just be careful and get a nice modular power supply rated for a GPU like this.

The 4080 a good choice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The RTX 4080 is a true beast when it comes to graphics performance, showcasing NVIDIA's commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming and creative capabilities. Packed with cutting-edge technology, this graphics card delivers an unparalleled gaming experience that is sure to satisfy even the most demanding users. Performance-wise, the RTX 4080 is a powerhouse. With its advanced architecture and impressive specifications, it effortlessly handles the latest AAA titles and resource-intensive applications. The ray tracing capabilities bring games to life with stunning realism, and the AI-driven features enhance overall image quality, making for a truly immersive experience. The build quality and design of the RTX 4080 are also commendable. The sleek, futuristic aesthetic adds a touch of sophistication to any gaming rig, and the robust construction ensures durability. The cooling system effectively keeps temperatures in check, maintaining optimal performance even during extended gaming sessions. However, it's essential to address the elephant in the room – the price. The RTX 4080 comes with a premium price tag that may raise eyebrows, especially for budget-conscious consumers. While the performance justifies the cost for enthusiasts and professionals who demand the best, it may not be the most cost-effective option for the average gamer. In conclusion, the RTX 4080 is undeniably one of the most powerful graphics cards on the market, delivering exceptional performance for gaming and creative tasks alike. If budget constraints are not a major concern, investing in the RTX 4080 will undoubtedly elevate your gaming and computing experience to new heights. However, for those on a tighter budget, alternative options may provide a better balance between performance and cost-effectiveness.

More than what i was looking for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally bought a 4070 TI but wasn’t maxing out frame rates at ultra settings, so exchanged for the 4080 and on ultra settings I’m maxing out my QHD nano IPS 165 Hz LG Ultragear monitor on ultra with everything. No coil whine either unlike i had with the 4070ti and the temps stay below 60c without even having to undervolt. Highly recommend!

Ventus 3X OC 4080
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very Powerful Gaming, Content Creator GPU. Using Davinci Resolve Studio 18 with new AV1 codec & duel encoders on the GPU your seeing 450-500+ fps for a render. Studio Drivers vs Game Ready drivers. Both works flawlessly but the Studio drivers gives you more frames when rendering. Longer videos will take more time. One hour video roughly 4:00 to 4:30 secs. 10 - 30 min videos you can half that time. If you really focus and knock out a lot of videos you will easily come up against the number of daily uploads to YouTube. Let's talk the about the gaming performance. You need a 120hz monitor or tv to fully utilize. If you have a 60hz TV, Monitor, or just set the 60hz in windows, you actually have two much GPU. The games will be butter smooth with Ultra settings using 80-150 watts. My PC in some games uses less power than PS5 or Series X. The consoles at launch were somewhat interesting months later the PCs are ahead now 2+ generations ahead. When you use all of the 4080's full potential, easily maxed out a 120hz LG OLED TV. DLSS 2.0 and now Frame Generation makes this card an absolute beast 150-200+ FPS. Full power you'll see a max of 300 watts used. I'm using the MSI MEG 1000-Watt power supply having 1 16 pin power connector from PSU to GPU is really nice cable management. Recommended 850w which I did have but I wanted fewer cables in my case. The temps have never gotten over 60c on average low 50c to mid 50c. Most of the games I've played are Game pass, Ubisoft, some steam. DX11 titles you will max out every game to ultra. I have one 4 tb drive full of games tested them all this card is insanely powerful. Every game tested is well over 100 FPS with full ultra settings. DX12 titles see an uplift in performance. This generation I can honestly say it is 2x the GPU of the 3080 & it's actually available @ msrp in stock online or at a store. Last generation was not very friendly to those who needed a GPU they had to deal with scalpers and 2 years of low stock and availability. In my opinion unless you really need the extra horsepower from a 4090 save the money just buy a ventus 4080.

Fantastic Card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic card! I agree that it is not a good value, but the performance is excellent. I bought it for Quest 2 VR streaming over airlink and 1440p high refresh gaming. Works great for both use cases and runs cool and quiet. The card is smaller than most 4080s and only required a 750 watt PSU, which was perfect for my setup.

Great Card - Overpriced
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Positives: - As far as I know this is the smallest 4080. - It runs very cool. - Max settings on games like Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p without any issues what so ever. Rather amazing that the card doesn't even seem to start to heat up. Negatives: - Overpriced for performance. Though I will say that I think reviewers, tech people, etc. need to factor in inflation. The card is overpriced, but it isn't THAT overpriced. In comparison to the new AMD 7900 XT and XTX I think this card is worth it even at this price point if you enjoy ray tracing in games at 1440p or 4k gaming.

Great No-Frills 4080, but a bit Overpriced
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I won't discuss the price/value aspect, as we all know this is an overpriced card. However I'm totally happy with it. I wanted to upgrade to a 40xx card with sufficient headroom to run Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) at Ultra/High settings in a high resolution VR headset. However, my PC case would not accommodate the 4090 in any version. This 4080 at 322 mm length just fits my case - the 3-slot width was perfect, and the 320 W power rating matched up nicely with my 850 W PSU. I couldn't care less about flashy RGB whistles and bells. I'm in it strictly for its performance. So far this card is a beast and should be the last GPU I need for a long time. I was also impressed with the build quality, particularly the integrated bracket. It alone provided sufficient stiffness that card does not sag at all. I installed the add-in bracket as well, but it doesn't seem to be supporting much weight. I'll leave it installed, though. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Awesome card and performa wi h proper case cooling
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say this card is performing way better than I expected 110fps in cyberpunk ray tracing ultra mode with dlss in auto @1440p The description for the card(MSI) says the boost clock is 2535mhz. Even though the max power limit is 100% for this version. Its actually boosting to 2750mhz on its own while keeping temps around 70c with 30% fan. I added 100mhz more on the core oc to get a total of 2850mhz on the core. Been playing for hours and the temps just went to 72-74. If you dont mind louder fans you can ramp up the fans to go to 70% and lower temps to 60c under this conditions. I have a NzHT case H5 with postive airflown pressure with rear exhausts. Not sure if all cards can get boosted that high. I have proper case cooling. Could be playing a factor. Highly recommended.

Great Card overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.equipped this card with an intel-13700k cpu and 2k 240hz gaming monitor. Solid performance for most fps gaming. 400~600 fps for cs2, 300+ fps for apex legends and 150~250 fps for pubg with maximum graphics setting. this card is like a compromised solution between choices of 4090 and 4070ti. As for me 4070ti might be more price-worthy because i seldom use it for 3A gaming or heavy computing tasks.
