Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB VENTUS 3X OC's performance, cooling, and relatively small size for a 4080 card, with many praising its high FPS in games and excellent ray tracing capabilities. However, customers are negative about the high price point, and some have reported experiencing coil whine. Positive feedback also highlights the card's quiet operation and efficient power consumption. The overall experience is largely positive, despite the cost.

A little pricey? Yes, I think so. However, if you’re looking for a gpu that can easily handle 4k gaming without melting, this is it. Can be overlocked, but honestly I haven’t felt the need to. No coil while, and well built.

It’s been a pleasure using this card over the past year. I know there have been complaints about the 40 series price to performance and yes some of it is very valid. Considering today’s economy though what hasn’t skyrocketed in price? I switch between multiple displays for this GPU depending on what I’m playing and it holds its own at 4K, 2k, and 2k ultrawide. Frame rates in most games at any of the resolutions are high outside of the most demanding games, no need to name them as we all know them.

It's a very strong video card. I do believe it is overpriced for what it is (thanks Nvidia), but this specific model is whisper quiet and very powerful. If you can afford it, save up for a 4090 or wait until the 50 series comes out in a couple years.

Excellent graphics card. Runs most of my games at 4k with 60fps or higher. It is without a doubt overpriced but that's the market right now. I recommend it.

The RTX 4080 is a game-changer! Its sleek design adds flair to my setup, while the raw power under the hood delivers an unrivaled gaming experience. From smooth frame rates in AAA titles to seamless multitasking, this card is a performance beast. The ray tracing capability and efficient cooling are icing on the cake. A must-have for any enthusiast!

Price is a bit steep, but it is definitely a really fine card. Haven't had a lot of time with it per say yet, but running AutoCAD 2017 and AlarmCAD has been night and day compaired to my last card. Which was admittedly just making it to run the programs I need for my Job. So steep price point, but holy wow awsome Card.

    4080 Founders but Better

While the build quality doesn't feel as solid as the higher end versions of the card, the weight and size of the card make up for it. The smallest and lightest 4080 you can get. Not much else on the card in terms of bells and whistles. Just better than a founders card in looks, weight, size, and a slight overclock. Performs wonderful and way more stable than any AMD cards I tried.

This card has a very well designed cooler that keeps the card around 60C under extreme loads. The card also has great idle and load utilization of power draw. Downside which is not a huge deal is that it does not exceed a certain clock speed. My card will boost to 2780 mHz and stay there no matter what the temps/voltages/sliders do.

Card came nicely packaged. Purchase was easy through best buy. Card has no RGB. Does exactly what you would expect a 4080 to do. With custom fan curves card stays below 60c at 100% load. Happy with my purchase.

Great buy if you can afford it and don't own a 30 series already. Upgraded from an RTX 2080(non super) and absolutely love the performance. I currently game at 1440 resolution and don't think I have experienced sub 90 fps in any game on max settings.

A fantastic GPU, a confusing price range, but a well packaged piece of hardware. Runs all my simulations, games, and software easily. A very quiet fan under load too. However! It does have coil whine. Only when playing Valorant, which is not something i expected. Not too much a bother since i just have my headphones but it is noticble.

I was looking for a 4080 that would fit nicely into a NR200, and chose this one due to it's slightly smaller form factor. It's been running great, cool, and quiet (have fans at just 35%). I also chose it for no RGB lighting.

Blisteringly fast in VR for DCS world and MSFS, and runs amazingly cool. It is enormous, so confirm case dimensions before spending the cash.

I'm in love with the power of this GPU. Its able to do so much with lil bit of effort. Slap this baby in a mid tower with lots of airflow and this baby will stay at a great temperature.

Due to its slightly shorter length I was able to squeeze this into my SFF build for a nice upgrade from my 3060. This has exceeded my expectations and really a nice upgrade for my little computer.

Obviously the pricing isn’t on par with previous generations. But can’t argue about the performance and the cooling on this card, both top notch.
