I upgraded my current system to a 9800x3d and 5080. This thing runs like a beast. I switched the gaming mode on, and it chews through everything I throw at it. Currently playing The Last of Us Part 1 and its running ultra 1440p native at 120-150 fps. Astounding! This is quite an upgrade from my 3070.

Upgraded from a 3080 Ti. What difference 48% increase in performance in most games I play without FG. With FG almost unleavable incredible!! With 5080 straight out of the box. Truly satisfied with this card.

Able to get over 530fps even 700fps at times on Ready or Not with settings maxed at 1440p. Temp stays very good, highest I've seen is 67°C. Most games stay about 55°C or less. Don't look back when gaming at insane FPS with 4x frame gen. Cpu I'm using is the 13900k.

Amazing GPU, 0 problems, little pricey but worth it.

This GPU is actually really good. No coil whine at all. I'd say almost perfect, especially if you can get it at MSRP.

It’s a strong card. Arc Raiders no upscaling, 4k ultra is running 85-90 fps. It’s a beast.

this has been great, easy to install, really fast. Now I do have an older CPU so probably not using it to its fullest ability yet. love it

Good 1080p card and 1440p but very lacking in 4k but both the 5070ti and 5080 ive owned from msi have gotten coil whine

Very good overclocker this msi 5080 gaming trio might have a hefty price tag but definitely worth it.

Upgraded from a 3080 10gb card. Needed the extra vram at 5120x1440. Overall, pretty good upgrade. Would recommend other than the $$$

TLDR: Good Card, 5080/5090 prices in general, not so good.

Upgraded to this MSI RTX 5080 from a 30-series card and the difference is night and day. I was worried about the size, but it fit into my mid-tower just fine (though it's definitely a "thicc" card). The Gaming Trio cooler is incredibly quiet—even under heavy load in Cyberpunk with ray tracing maxed out, the temps stayed well under 65C. The design is sleek without being too "flashy," and the RGB is subtle enough to look premium. It’s expensive, yeah, but if you’re looking for high-refresh 4K gaming, this is basically the sweet spot for the 50-series right now. Pros: Stays very cool and quiet. 4K performance is flawless. Build quality feels very solid. Cons: It’s a massive card, so check your case clearance! Price is steep, but you get what you pay for.
