    Less than stellar contrast ratios, poor brightness, and quality control issues msde me return it. I did not like having to deal with dead pixels, and neither should anyone else. Budget pricing does not mean you have to settle for less.

    Really good monitor, the only trouble i have right now is finding a compatible monitor mount/stand. Alot of monitors usually have no problem but this monitor’s back bracket is a circle, compared to other monitors which have a square bracket.

    I own a previous generation of this monitor, which I loved and was looking forward to this upgrade 165Hz model but MSI made a big mistake and increased the size of the base substantially. Unless you have a separate VESA mount to use, I would not recommend this monitor because it takes up too much desk real estate. The base is comically large for a 27" monitor, bigger than the monitor itself!

    Works great with my gaming laptop with an Nvidia GPU but on my work laptops, it is stuck at 640x480 even after installing the latest drivers. Odd because the older model the MAG27CQ works fine on all laptops even up to 2560x1440 with the default Intel HD Graphics 620 adapter. Also the footprint of the base is quite large, much larger than the MAG, and takes up a big part of thr desk.

    Upgraded from MSI G24C4 of 3 years. Overall great design, response, and curve. Many options and settings for gamers. Also, has UHD resolution. Before purchase, thought VA panels would be an issue but nope. Amazing picture quality, contrast, no black smearing! If looking specifically for curved, 27" or high-end yet affordable gaming monitor. Solid choice! MSI does not disappoint!
