Phenomenal performance only drawback is that it heats up sometimes

Nice powerful computer. Does get hot on bottom because of the vent holes so wouldn’t recommend gaming on the lap. Happy with performance and quality.

I purchased this laptop with high hopes, the display was great and overall feel was slick and modern. The 1080p front camera and extended battery life were the two selling points for me. Everything worked great until i decided to plug it into my monitor. When plugged into my monitor to play games the frames would suddenly drop to the point where the games were unplayable. I tried fixing my settings, messing around with different hdmi cords. I tried numerous and various solutions, none of which worked. My monitor works fine with 2 other laptops and pc's, so i can only assume that the problem was with the laptop. If you are going to be playing this laptop without any monitors then its a 5 out of 5 stars for me.

This laptop looks light years better than it's competitors at this price range. I installed COD MWF (a graphics intensive game) and it ran without issue on top settings. I connected it to my 4k gaming monitor and loved the performance. Excellent. THe screen on the laptop is fast, a bit dull but works great (and is what I expected). very happy so far - exceeding my expectations.

I absolutely love this computer with it's GeForce RTX 4070 card because it can run a very robust architectural software program, Chief Architect X15. That program has literally crashed multiple computers in our company, but not this one. I recommend this machine but when running the robust program there is a deficiency if it is operating when only using the battery- so we plug it in and it operates better.

I added a lot of 4K videos for training classes. This computer was one of three that we tried for editing so far this computer has performed the other ones which we have returned and this one is chugging right along. I’m sure you can play a lot of games on it because I’m moving around two or 3 TB video files during editing

Great laptop, high performance, and perfect weight to carry around

I was looking for a new laptop (last one I had was a 2014 Surface Pro 3thta was not set up for gaming) and after talking with the very helpful workers at best buy; I ended up with this beautiful gaming laptop. So far I have no complaints or problems. I do find myself having trouble with the space bar but I believe it is were I am hitting it. Very happy with this laptop and it does great for my games.

Definitely the most bang for your buck, ive had this computer for almost 3 years and I've been able to play any game that has come out.

Nice higher-end laptop. It really has been good, but 2 things: 1) It gets way too hot to rest on bare legs though, so do something about that. 2) I was annoyed on this for some weeks when I thought the screen wouldn't work - BUT if you just hold the power button for 20 to 30 seconds, it finally resets. Something to watch out for; I think it was after Nvidia's software updated.

I picked this out after my asus rog had issues after only 2 months of use. Instead of geek squad sending it in for repairs, the store allowed me to pick a laptop of equal value. Especially since I've had 2 back to back gaming laptops from best buy have issues under warranty so I'm not happy with best buy and my luck of getting lemon laptops. This msi seems relatively decent. One issue I had right away was that the cpu was getting topped out when I first started to use it out of the box. So I did a windows reinstall and wiped all the junk off of it. After I did this I had no issues at all. No delays or freezing. So if you have that issue, wipe it. I play relatively GPU intense games and the 4070 is holding up quite well. The best buy guy told me people buy these to play fortnite or Minecraft... If your buying this laptop, or any gaming laptop, for those 2 games you need to return it and just buy a generic laptop. Those are not GPU intensive games.. In fact gaming laptops should be a disgrace if used for those baby games. The laptop runs cooler than my previous ASUS but I still recommend a cooling fan under it. Overall this a decent gaming laptop. I just hope it lasts longer than longer than my 2 months ASUS ROG and before that I had a MSI Sword that died at 11 months. That's 2 best buy laptops that died under warranty. Hopefully this one lasts.

Great gaming laptop, does everything I need it to. I would recommend getting a cooler pad for it it does tend to get hot pretty fast. But cod at low settings about 265fps. Overall great little laptop when paired with a cooling pad and a monitor.

Love my new everyday computer! It has split screens for when I’m working or doing hw. The keyboard has so many options and I can have the light layout the way I want it. Speakers are amazing as well. It’s a 10/10 computer. It’s great for work and gaming!
