For any fan of the Scorpions, or fans of hearing popular songs done acoustically, this album will satisfy on both fronts. This band has been around for many years and are expert craftsman when it comes to their performance. This album is no exception. It delivers many fan favorites in a way they haven't been heard before, and from a very unique venue proving the worldwide status of these rock icons.

I had high hopes for this unplugged cd, but some of the songs were hard to understand when the lead singer tries to draw out the song . Some of these songs should not be unplugged and some are not even their hits . Some are good and clear but not for the Monet.

I did not realize they still did Unplugged. I am glad I discovered this one. A new take on both old and new songs. The video was shot well and in an interesting venue. The special guests were not known.

Terrific sounding album with alternate versions of classic hits like Rock You Like a Hurricane, No One Like You, and Blackout. Great mix of new and older material. True fans will relish it and a new fan will get turned onto the band by it.

I would rate this as average overall, there are better concert performances of this band, but this is unique as being acoustic. That does not work for all of their songs though, so why I gave the average rating. A must for all fans of the band, but I personally prefer "Moment of Glory" for a different concert style with the orchestra backing them. Price is reasonable which makes this attractive.

Great selection of songs, new and old. The sound and picture quality is superb, really highlighting Klauses voice n the sound of this great band!

A great addition to a vast music selection, if you are a fan, it's a must get. Not a great unplugged performance, this record could have been perfection with better direction.

Better Scorpions material out there. This was different, a couple good songs, but probably wouldn't buy it I I had I do do over again.

Wow, a must for all Scorpions fans and even devotees of 80s metal. The Scorpions rework their classics and it comes off perfectly in an acoustic setting at the spectacular Lycabettus Amphitheatre in Athens (where coincidentally while on vacation I was supposed to see the B-52s, but they canceled that day!). Klaus sounds perfect, Matthias rocks cool as always, and Rudolf shreds on an unreal array of acoustics including a Flying V and even a doubleneck acoustic Flying V - who knew they even existed! Long love the Scorpions!!!

The Scorpions span practically their entire career in the Unplugged in Athens set. I've been a Scorpions listener since the early 80's (the Blackout album with No One Like You) and it amazes me that they sound as great as they do so many years later! Very few groups can do that and the Scorpions have nailed it. A fantastic set of songs on the DVD, with almost like a 'Best Of' selection for the CD. Well worth every penny.

The CD/DVD combo of the Scorpions Unplugged in Anthens is nothing short of amazing. If you're a Scorpions fan it's a must have!! In a time when most stores are making their CD sections smaller I happened to stumble upon this release at Best Buy just looking through their stock. It was quite a find as I didn't even know it had been released!

A great career overview from the Teutonic Nights. The acoustic arrangements are a reminder of what great songwriters the Scorps are! The new songs stand worthily alongside the classic material. The CD contains the partial show while the DVD has the whole program. Great value for the price. Highly recommended!

I have been a Scorpions fan for years. I was suprised to find their recent album was "Unplugged". So I immediately purchased it. They sound better Unplugged than they ever have. Not that they were bad before. It seems that the Unplugged experience with them was really a new musical level for them.

The Scorpions rock and they do so here with an amazing acoustic set which includes a dvd of the performance. They wrote 5 new songs specifically for this project and they are great songs. One of the truly great hard rock/heavy metal bands of all time deliver.

Just for Wind of Change to hear it unplugged is worth the purchase of this CD there are many more songs that are also enjoyable unplugged

It was interesting to hear the Scorpions in an acoustic set. The old songs have a different quality and Klaus still sounds pretty good.

Scorpions did a wonderful job with this MTV unplugged. It took me to the days when MTV actually was broadcasting music only, and that really good bands were able to turn their original hits into acoustic versions. This is a must on every rock music fan.

An 80's band putting out a surprisingly good album. I couldn't believe this was a hair band. They pulled off the unplugged sound.
