Customers praise the Self Heating Travel Mug's ability to maintain drinks at the desired temperature for extended periods and its convenient USB charging capabilities. However, some users find the lid design inconvenient and the mug's size and weight to be drawbacks. The 12-ounce capacity is also a point of contention for some customers who prefer larger volumes. Overall, the temperature control and battery life are highlighted as positive aspects, while the lid and size are frequently cited as areas for improvement.

This mug works as advertised. Hot drinks stay gout for hours. Recharge the battery and your ready to go for the next day. I was able to easily get a couple of hours, and probably much longer- usually got through the drink before the charge runs ou. The only draw back is the controls take some time getting use to however after some trial and error you get used to the way they work.

First of I would like to start off with the packaging. Let me tell you that was fancy and felt expensive. The Muggo comes in a very nice slick black. At first I was a little confused on how to used it but after searching for help I was able to get it to work. I brew some coffee and left it at a 130' F of course you can adjust it at your liking. But who likes old cold coffee?! The hottness was able to perserve the freshness of the coffee which is a must if you drink coffee like me. With the battery attach it does make the mug heavy, not a big deal for me. It comes with the This mug definetly get the job done by keeping your coffee hot and fresh. I Love it. I must say it is quite over priced. Other than that its an amazing.

This Muggo is a great way to keep your coffee or other beverage hot/warm. I prefer to keep my coffee at around 115 deg F, and this mug does it well. You set your preferred temperature right on the mug when it is either parked on the charge base or attached to the battery pack. I love the way the mug attaches to the base and battery magnetically.
The base is powered using the provided wall outlet or via the USB port on the base. You cannot charge the battery apart from the base, so if you are traveling or want to use the mug at the office, you'll need to bring the base with you. Luckily it is flat and compact. Would be good to have a charging port on the battery pack as well for camping and general portability. Maybe on the next iteration.
The lid is leak-free when closed. To drink, you press down on the top and it stays open with 360-degree access to your coffee. You close it by pressing on the lid again. I generally leave the lid open, and because the lead is deep, coffee does not spill out even in the car. Great design!
I can't wait to use this mug in the dead of winter for some hot chocolate. Excellent product that is worth having around!

The Muggo Self Heating Travel Mug is a sleek looking travel mug that works quite well at keeping your coffee hot. The mug arrives with a single charging base capable of charging two batteries. It comes with only one battery. The battery is actually a base for the mug itself and connects with magnets. It's all very cool looking but, it's not perfect.
While it will keep your drink hot, it struggles maintaining a temp above 120 degrees. I was fine with that but, some people may prefer a hotter temperature.
Also, the battery can be knocked off, if you do something awkward like put the mug under your arm while you fumble your house keys, lunch and briefcase. If you drop it, it will definitely pop off. It's not the end of the world but, I wouldn't want it to happen on a subway platform.
Both the cup and lid, are easy to clean with soap and water.
The lid is awkward and only seems to let liquid flow from certain angles. You may have to shift the cup to get a proper sip.
Overall, a good product but, there is room for improvement. I wish I had an extra battery and base, so I could shift seamlessly between work and home.
I recommend it.

I have a major issue with cold coffee, so this was a must-have for me. Firstly, this cup is a great size. If you want to just throw it in your backpack and go, it's perfect. I also love the programmable temperature because I tend to like my liquids hot enough to nearly blister my mouth. The pop-top is nice too, as long as it is kept clean. The charging pad is small and can definitely be thrown into a purse or backpack just in case.

First, I want to say that the packaging on this product is beautiful! Honestly, as far as holiday gifts go, just slap a bow on the box that this comes in and you'll be set!
Second, the ease of use for this mug is fantastic! It did take a little bit of time to get used to exactly where to touch and then I had to change how I wanted to naturally hold the mug because my fingers insisted on hitting right at the "off" spot several times. Once I got that worked out I was so pleased, this is definitely going to be under the tree for several of my hot coffee loving friends. There are few things that are quite as disappointing as taking the time to make the "perfect" cup of coffee and then getting distracted by work/life/etc. only to realize that your coffee is now room temp!

Nice idea not worth it. It worked well for a few months, then some how fluid got between, inside the casing. The connectors on the battery bent which made it worthless. It now sits in the cabinet. I reached out to the manufacture, during the warranty time, with no response.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! Mugg stopped working after less than two months. Warranty phone number busy for four solid days. Three email requests for warranty with Muggo's only response being an email offer for a 10% discount on a new Muggo. Warranty service is as bad as it gets. get the Ember travel mug instead. Spend the extra money for an Ember.
