Amazing documentary about an authentic, genuine Hero. It is a rarity in today's society to find such a young man with the integrity of an old soul. There was a reason why Michael P. Murphy was the man he was-a solid belief in the greater good instilled in him by his parents. True to his beliefs, he unselfishly sacrificed his life for the love/respect of his fellow soldiers. A must see for any generation. Lt. Michael Murphy has followed in the footsteps of our WWII, Korean and Vietnam soldiers in his level of patriotism and professionalism.

From the look of the cover and from the movie trailer I watched I didn't catch on that this was a documentary. Usually the movie will say in it's title or on the cover that it's a documentary. I was thinking that this movie would be like Act of Valor or something along those lines. I only watched about 20-30 minutes of it before I turned it off. Sorry, I'm sure this is an excellent documentary, but I'm not one for documentaries; my intent was to purchase a movie.

Lone Survivor is based on a true story. Mike Murphy was not just a fictional character in that movie; he was a real life hero. I have been an admirer of the Navy Seals ever since reading Rogue Warrior by Richard Marcincko, the man most instrumental in making them what they are today. Michael Murphy exemplifies what a true hero is, and I feel honored getting to know this man through this documentary of his life.

This group of Navy Seals are bar none, the best of the best! Caught in an unfortunate situation, on a mission gone so very wrong! Forced to make a decision that would seal their fate! This is the story of the Team leader of that mission! A brave man, and a true American hero!

excellent documentary of an american hero...f**K all the terrorists in the world

The movie was a biography of one of the bravest men to take on our enemy. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for his men and his country. Was a great movie to learn exactly who he was.

It's hard to watch films like this but it's so powerfully moving! Reminds you of all those fighting for our freedoms and the love for our country! I loved it!

This wasn't what I was expecting at first. Thought it was a war movie until I started watching it. Amazing!!!!! Cried like a big ole baby! It's a must see.

Movie documentary about Navy Seal life before military and during Afghanistan tour before death in mountainside battle with Taliban forces. Medal of Honor award.

This was more of a biography and his desire to become a seal. It was good, but i would really love to see more sequences from his actual Navy SEAL training.

What an awesome way to show tribute in honor of a great Combat Veteran and hero. Thanks for sharing the family side of Murphy!

Hard to believe that everthing he did was true but this movie is amazing and he is a true hero.
