    I have loved the Wiz since I first saw it in the theaters. Just a great film and amazing Quiny Jones music. I did not know there was a Live with Queen Latifa until I saw this on the BB website. Even though I already have the movie, I had to have this collection.

    this is a great concept, the old wiz and the new wiz all in dvd. i bought this for my wife who is a crazy fan of the wiz, first night we watch both of them .

    I haven't watched the Live version, but I will say that the movie version takes me back to my childhood. Looks and sounds great, however thanks to HD clarity, the matte paintings stick out pretty good. Otherwise, still a classic.
