Izuku Midoriya is the odd man out in a world where nearly everyone posses a supernatural power called a "Quirk", yet despite his lack of powers, he dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might. When a chance encounter brings him face to face with the eternally grinning "Symbol of Peace and Justice", Izuku's life takes an unexpected turn, setting down a path once thought unreachable to him. Joining him are a colorful classroom of students with their own powers and personalities, and together they will face a threat that may change the very foundation of their world.

What if the Justice League or the Avengers had gone to school to learn how to control their powers as teenagers? This Anime answers that with the story revolving around a hero and his protégé and what it means when one must pass the torch to the next generation. It is a well told and beautiful piece of Anime. And there are a couple of parts that I have to rewatch over and over, because it makes my heart sing.

It really is THAT good! Don't be thrown off by the art style, which may seem targeted to a more juvenile audience. This series will appeal to ALL ages! I could go on about the plot, the characters, the setting...but all you need to know is that it's a typical "hero's journey" story that is VERY well written. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
