My 19 year old daughter hails this movie as her absolute most favorite movie of all time, I finally got to see why. Nominated for a Best Animated Film Oscar, it is an extremely well made movie and an even better story! Wow. Don't be fooled that it's animated, if you love good films, you must own this one.

Not exactly for kids; more for teens and up. Story of a little boy placed in an orphanage after living a "hard" life without a dad and an alcoholic mom. Not exactly sure what happens to her at the early part of the movie but she is out of the picture as well. The orphans all have their "story" but are able to overcome their problems by coming together with friendship.

I'm very into stop motion films. The story is definitely one of a kind and it's very emotional. It's very emotional and it discusses a topic that everyone should know. If you like action pack or silly lame Minion characters, this isn't it and that's a good thing.

This bluray is an excellent example how good animation looks even at 1080p. Excellent detail and colors make this movie along with a good family storyline a must have for video enthusiasts ...

The animation is good and a little different in this movie. The story is a little sad at first, but then changes into a journey of hope. I recommend this movie.

We like animations. This was purchased because it was on sale as a new release. We enjoyed it. Funky.
