I bought two of this item; one as a gift and one for myself. This charger is durable and a good option if you are the type to plan ahead. The cord is also durable, which a USB head and a mini-USB head, it should plug into most phones or laptops. In order to charge you have to plug the mini into the charger and the regular USB into a laptop. If you want to spring for an additional wall charge adapter, that will add extra flexibility. I happen to have one from another manufacturer. Overall I have been satisfied. I charge mine up, toss it in my bag or shove it in my pocket and forget about it until I need it. The wire being loose is a bit annoying, but I've been able to secure mine by looping it through the metal bit on the end and then through itself in a sort of running-knot, and I haven't lost it yet. Depends on the friend, but I would probably recommend it to at least some of them.

I love this charger for the price. The size is perfect and it has a lot of charge. It is very durable.

This sturdy charger charges up pretty quick and can charge my HTC One up fully once, which is great when I am on weekend camp outs with the Scouts. I like the durability for travel and outdoor use. Solid product.

This is a good power bank for the outdoors or ruggat terrain. It has a rubber covering that protects it from water and whatever the weather may throw at it. On mine, I can get 2 good charge out of it which is more than enough to keep my phone alive for the whole day.

Its a nice size, although the charging cable is a lil short. I charged it once and it worked fine, really haven't tested the durability, but it feels like it can withstand a few drops lol

Bought this because I use my cellphone constantly for my business and personal uses, so far everything still working the way it should, charge super fast and definitely can handle being carried in any type of environment.

Needed this for a hiking trip to Colorado in order to take pics with my phone. Worked as advertised - quick recharge & durable for bouncing & banging around in my backpack.

Exactly what I needed in a n emergency charger. Outside cover projects the battery charger so well. The battery is so long and chargers your phone quickly and fully!

This unit is small and portable. It is wonderful for charging on the run. I recently used it for the first time and was very pleased with it.

Heavily made good feel charges well would not hesitate to carry it on outdoor adventures

Works great for my iPhone and smaller devices and perfect to take on the motorcycle trips without taking up hardly any room. Nice and reassuring to know if I get caught in a down pour, it will survive. Disappointed that it doesn't fully charge my iPad Air 2, keeps it from dying for a few more minutes or so if using the tablet, but even when not using it there is a lot of battery life needed.

Use on long bike rides and keeps my phone charged (need the gps)

I love this charger, it does exactly what it says it does flawlessly. It charges quickly itself as well so that you will always be with a full rapid charge for your phone, the only thing to consider is to always make sure to have the cords for both the charger and phone because the cord it comes with is tiny and doesn't attach to it in anyway overall a great product very satisfied

This innocent looking divice had saved me many times when my phone battery has gone out. It's a great tool to save frustration when you need to call the baby sitter to let know you're running late, but your phone battery is showing 2$. This device will bring it back to 100% within 15 or 20 minutes (depending on how dead your battery is). Get one!

This is a durable charger can with stand water, dirt, a fall. Charges phone quick

I like it. It will completely charge my phone with power to spare. My only complaint would be that the lanyard hole is just rubber so if you plan on dangling this charger keep an eye on it.

I use my phone a lot during the day and don't have time, and sometimes don't have any place to recharge my phone. This comes in very handy.
