It's able to charge my ipads (I have a 3G 9.7 pro and a 12.9" wifi pro) without any issue, however, it doesn't charge them particularly quickly if they are in use, if youre willing to spend another $30-$50 you might find some thing a bit more powerful, but all in all for the price this one does well
