We picked up a couple of these so my wife could get her iPad back. I looked at Samsung tablets (and others) with similar specs and found few differences. The shape is more designed for kids and it is marketed for tweens to teens but don't let that fool you. If you don't mind the shape this is a full blown tablet. The 16Gb version was reported to be lacking Google play, but these came loaded with it. Now my wife and I may get a couple for ourselves. I would recommend these to anyone since they are less expensive than their counterparts and just as good.

Got this for my son on Christmas. He loves the games and loves the learning features ( textbooks ). Battery life is great ( about 10 hours ) !! Easy to setup, has great features !!

My grand daughter absolutely loves this tablet! In fact we love it so much that we may have to buy another for a second grand daughter. It was ready to use right out of the box.

This is a great machine at its price point for the same specs from competitors. Yes, there are no parental controls, but I didn't want any. If you want parental controls, don't buy this machine. My 11 year old son and I are both very happy. We have owned it for about 6 weeks and have had no problems.

me and my wife bought one of these for each one of our kids for christmas this past year. 2 out of the 3 screens are already cracked or shattered. these things are very nice but the screens crack way too easy and they have been out for awhile but nabi has not come out with a screen replacement fix as of yet, half a year later.

The purpose of purchasing a NABI is that it's made for kids/tweens/young adults. This means that there are easy to use, easily modifieable parental controls. BEWARE - the 32GB version of this has absolutely no Parental Controls!! I was on the phone with Tech support for over 1 hour trying to find the "NABI Mode" (this is the mode that sets the controls), before the young lady finally figured out that this version didn't come with the NABI Mode. What's the point of buying this product without Parental controls??? Her solution...return this one and go online to purchase the 16GB version which has this mode. She said that this product was built for Tweens/Young Adults and they didn't need parental controls.. Seriously??? A 12 year old should be cruising the app store adn the internet for whatever they can find?? What an awful exprience. Currently, no ETA on the controls being added.
