    Solid Phone Overall

Glad to see the fingerprint sensor and home button on the front. Also glad to see that this phone is almost as waterproof (IP57) as my Note 7 was. Interface was pretty good, had to get used to back button and recent apps button on opposite sides, the fact that those can't be swapped blows. This was a relatively new offering from Sprint but it uses a processor that was two models ago, with 3GB of ram the phone was pretty adequate but having the Note 7 with the faster processor and 4GB of ram was noticeable.

    Cyberpunk phone

The phone is beautiful and works great. I didn't realize it didn't have an OLED display until I read the reviews. The screen is definitely bright enough when it needs to be, but LCDs thrive at night. The super LCD 1440p display is absolutely stunning at night, making 5.5 inches of one side cyberpunk af. Flanking this giant LCD panel is an incredibly quick and sensitive fingerprint scanner. Do you even need to me to explain having one of the best fingerprint scanners in the game is for being cyberpunk? On the other side is a front facing camera that is 8MP 1080p. The front facing camera is definitely not neglected and works well. Cyberpunk. The design gets called clunky, but it's literally flat, with an elegant protrusion for lens glass in a circle in the middle on the back. A perfect circle jutting out, and a bright two LED flash is sunk into the design in contrast close to the legs, drawing attention to their large size. They are indeed bright. Two lone stripes across an all flat back with large canted edge. Every aspect of the design is minimalist, meaning that the features that are there are accented. And it's all coming up cyberpunk. The camera on the back can handle 16MP 4k and can take up to 120fps in slow motion. Those features seem to be something coming soon to most phones that a lot of people will adopt, so to have it early means you'll have it then. Speaking of early adapting a promising technology, USB-C graces our presence as the only port. A single port that surpasses all that have come before it, monolithically present in its capability, and very solid feeling. It's a very good port. Feels very tactile, sturdy, and it's reversible. Fast charging charges the large battery quickly. A much needed cyberpunk attribute is the large battery that charges fast. There's currently not much for the port but it's a powerful as of yet unharnessed technology, and that's cyberpunk af. I've heard of one accessory that I want, but it's only available direct from China as something made as kind of a proof of concept product. As I lamented over the 6 possible weeks I might spend waiting for it to ship, I realized this was the most cyberpunk problem I'd ever had. Speakers are loud and come out of a single grill to the left of the port. It's loud enough and doesn't sound too tinny, but still has the distinctive " coming out a phone" speaker tinge that's inevitable. It's the asymmetrical, powerful, and cut out of metal as a lovely design element. It's cyberpunk. The menu and back buttons are a glowing triangle and square when you hit either one. They're a good cyberpunk element. The fact that some kind of corporate deal got this processor be compatible with the Next-gen LTE plus network, but newer versions of this CPU do not, so you get an older CPU. This older CPU is still 2Ghz 8core. This CPU tends to get hot when it works hard, which the bloatware used to almost do. The phone is a hodgepodge of cyberpunk features slightly held back in other departments due to corporate greed, which is cyberpunk af. Also noted that some claim the design is not comfortable like an ergonomic arced back. When the phone is this big, you really just cradle the edges. Which all have a thick, and extremely comfortable, cant. The slanted ergonomic surface is only a thin strip in a minimalist rectangle. The buttons along the edge have a noticeable and satisfying physical click. It's hard to find a case for this unpopular phone, but why hide it, it's beautiful. It's also pretty tough, and the glass isn't slippery. It's dust and waterproof, so use it in the rain in the city you cyberpunk. I got it in gunmetal a few months ago, its back has a few scratches, but the result looks of course, really cyberpunk. The bloatware can really hamper things, and the phone was shipped out with buggy hardware like common failing LCD panels. But, it's been half a year, HTC fixed my phone and sent it back, it has a new hardware number, and the incident seems swept under the rug as each successive update increases the usability of the phone and removes more bloatware. HTC has made small snappier changes to the latest Android 7.0 and it feels really nice. Anyways, solid build and striking features. If you like going no case with cyberpunk phones look no further. 10/10 would recommend.

Phone is great but doesn't support numerous apps

Phone is great but doesn't allow you to log in to all Amazon apps, Outlook, Skype and the BESTBUY app. I know the phone is new but HTC please update it before putting the phone for sale. I did exchange my phone for a new one after a 2+ hour wait but the HTC Bolt phone itself is not yet compatible with the mentioned apps as per SPRINT. Please fix this issue. Otherwise great phone.

    Should be recalled

I want to start out by saying I used to swear that HTC was the best phone out there. My wife and I both had an HTC One for nearly four years with no problems. My screen finally cracked I decided to buy a new HTC Bolt exclusively for Sprint customers, BIG mistake. I didn’t buy insurance since my last HTC lasted so long. I had the phone for 13 days when half the screen went out. So we called Sprint customer service and thankfully we were barely within the 14 day return period to return the phone. However, since there was a defect we had to take it in to a Sprint store that could verify it was a defect and not because we dropped it or broke it in some other way. The closest store to do this was an hour away. After making this long trek the technician took one look at the phone and said this is manufacturer’s defect and went to get a new one. When questioned further, the technician told us it was a common problem with the Bolt and that HTC pushed the phone out so fast that this was the result. We decided that we didn’t want that phone and settled for another company. If it wasn’t for that defect it would have been a great phone. I am very disappointed in HTC and Sprint for making and not recalling this inferior product.

I am HTC Fan till i purchased this phone... I have a problem with not receiving Calls and contacted Sprint about resolving the Issue, They tried their best to fix the issue and Finally Sprint confirmed that this phone has hardware issue so i need to contact HTC to fix this issue. I spent almost 4 to 5 days visited Sprint store multiple times, Contacted HTC 3 times and still my issue was not resolved...This is very bad Customer service after i purchased a device...They charge the same premium price as Apple or Samsung, But their support is no where near to them, The Support is same what you can expect if you buy some 50$ phone.
