The Nanoleaf is pretty darn cool. The panels are easy to install/connect. Once hooked up they respond great with their app and via the Homekit system. If I had to pick a negative, I would say pricing is a little high and when knocked off the system, reconnecting can be a little annoying.

I have nothing else to say about this light but amazing. The fact that you can program it to turn on at a specific time and change it to any color imaginable just blows my mind. The only bad thing about this is the price, but if you can get over that then definitely get this.

Goes well with the design of the home and lights up the room with it's bright, or dimmed, ambient lighting. Also pairs well with Homekit and Siri. Set commands to turn on lights as you enter your home, "Hey Siri, set Fireplace" or use voice commands to turn off lights right when you go to bed. Recommend purchasing at least one extra extension panels. 9 panels seems a bit short in my opinion.

This is the most versatile light ever. High quality construction. Awesome limitless setup possibilities. Very bright with unlimited colors. The apps both android and IOS work flawlessly. You can even control them with Siri. I love these lights so much that I bought (3) starter packs and (4) expansion packs.

I got this for $150 so it was worth it the white cord does turn yellow over time but oh well very bright and easy to use

Stylish, functional and fun. I bought these after a review I read on iMore.com and I have been really enjoying them. I put them together in a pattern that hangs behind my computer monitor so I have a super cool light show going on while I'm working or gaming. Apple HomeKit controls work great through the Home app, Control Center or Siri. Looking forward to buying some add-on panels soon :) Only negative is the price. While I'm happy enough with them for the $199 price, I think the barrier of entry is a bit too high for most.

While a bit expensive, I feel the light is worth it. The Aurora was very easy to install and is SUPER bright! The app was easy to setup and connect to the light and offers a real time view of your layout as well as easy access to controls and scenes. The company also provides great support and appears to be working very hard to make the product event better by listening to customer feedback and providing a development timeline of new things they plan to add.

These lights were very easy to install. You simply attach the first to the wall and then connect the rest. They are very bright and accent my desk setup wonderfully. Highly recommended.

The light panels are quite amazing and anyone who has an eye for design or likes to customize will like this product. I haven't had any problems so far, and it integrates well with my SIRI. The setup is quick to get the panels synced to my phone. The actual placement on the wall was also quick and the item comes with COMMAND STRIPS to help secure the panels to the wall. It also comes off with no mess. Great gift for anyone!

The Aurora lights look amazing on my wall, they were relatively easy to setup, and only had a minor setback with pairing the device to their app (which I solved by unplugging and plugging back in). The big downfall of this product is the price point. At $200 for the 9 tile starter kit, you might want to wait until the product goes on sale. That being said, it adds a creative and one of kind style in my room.

My brother didn't understand why I came home with $200 worth of lights. I almost didn't either. It's been over a year since I purchased them and I can say it has been well worth it. We have used these lights every single day and the customization is incredible. They light up my entire living room when I say, "Alexa, turn on White Light". They keep my living room calm when I tell Alexa to "turn on Fireplace". These things are amazing and I hope to see them gain popularity.

I have been using these lights in my office for a while now and they are unique that people compliment them. Set up was easy but I give it 4 stars because I had it connected to my iPhone and android device and after a couple weeks it is no longer working on my android device...also the extra panels are expensive.

These lights work exactly as described. Works with its own app or voice control with Alexa. Easy setup. Creates beautiful colors. Has several built-in scenes that are easy to use. Especially nice is the ability to create your own color palettes. Will be purchasing more sets in the future.

The concept of these smart lights is really awesome. Unfortunately the lights themselves have problems. I lose connection frequently and have to factory reset the entire system just to get them working. Also the pieces used to keep the lights up do not hold up well and tend to lose there hold at random moments.

Easy set up and endless design choices. Product is easy to use. Beware that Nanoleaf's marketing info does not explicitly tell you or show you in their videos) that this is not wireless product. Your cords will be visible.

I do not have a smart home, but I bought this to go behind my desk/monitor's and the light they can create is amazing! They can get really really bright, enough to be able to see everything in my room with just the 9 panels and it's a 12x14 sized room. It's not as bright as my overhead ceiling fan with 2 bulbs, but man it's great at night when I want it bright enough to see, but not super bright to annoyance. I love the different ways you can make it go through the colors and it's great ambient lighting. It really makes my room look a lot more classy since it's both a light piece and a work of art. I'm so glad I bought it. I absolutely love it! I really hope they can sync this up to music sometime soon, which I believe they are planning on doing sometime this year.

The nanoleaf aurora looks great once you get all the pieces to work together. It is marketed as a modular lighting system with the ability to add and remove pieces at will; unfortunately, in practice, this didn't necessarily work. My boyfriend piecing it together that way and we always had one or two of the triangles that wouldn't work. Fortunately, we learned that if you attach them to each other one at a time, all the pieces would work as long as you didn't remove/move the pieces. Once all the pieces were working, it looked great. We love it and it looks awesome on our wall, it just took so much unexpected trial and error. I don't know if ours was an isolated incident. Hopefully someone finds this helpful who is considering the aurora based on the promo videos alone.

Thought I would need the expansion pack, but the starter kit lights up my whole living room. They're very bright. The colors are very vibrant and the app is easy to use once you're able to connect the lights to it.

I wish I had 100 of these things. Sometimes they can be a little too bright but there's a lot of feature you can change from color to brightness. I still haven't figured out how to make it work with voice though. Apparently that's a feature... not sure.
