    This is by far the best tech toy had for my media room. Kids enjoy it to play with the touch-enabled games, we use it as an ambient light while watching TV, use as dance lights. I have been complimented by all everyone who has seen this on my wall. This is the first the think they notice. I have expanded the panels by using expansion sets (total of 17 panels), and even got a second set for my kid for her room.

    I bought an initial larger kit through nanoleaf about 20 months ago. The control panel died after about 3 months later and the support center replaced it. The replacement died and I bought this kit because I needed a second power brick (although it was supposed to support more than the squares I had but it didn't). Now this panel also broke. At this point I am not sure if I want to keep sinking money on it or stop using it, but then I also lose my investment of around $500 or more. It is a nice light when it works but I don't know that it is worth the hassle. Also the control panel is only sold directly by nanoleaf at 50+tax and the shipping is very slow. Extremely disappointed
