These lights are fun to play around with and change up right from my phone. They are the first thing you see when entering our home and all our guests love our Aurora. Only reason I'm rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price is fairly high for only 9 lights and it was somewhat difficult connecting to the app on both of our phones (apple and android) initially and when we moved it was hard to reconnect them. I highly recommend buying the expansion pack because you will want to play around with the design and the more the better. :)

This was very easy to set up, but be sure your router is 2.4 GHz. If you have a dual band, make sure you are using the 2.4 connection—this is not compatible with 5 GHz. The most difficult part was getting it on the wall. While all the photos show a nice, clean installation, the company’s installation video says you should leave the Command strip tabs sticking out from the panels. That’s three per panel, and it looks terrible. HOWEVER, Ifigured a way to install without having the tabs sticking out. When you put the first panel up, attached the three strips on the side that you will cover up the next panel. I used some removable mounting squares on the corner that didn’t have the Command strips for extra security.. When you get the the final one, you can slide the tabs of the Command strips behind the previous panel, peel into expose the adhesive, and then slide the panel into place. I managed to get mine up without one Command strip showing.

These lights are stunning, and will light up your room even on a low setting. I bought them for my sons bedroom, to use as a nightlight, but they were too bright for that. I also had some issues with them falling off the wall, and eventually I just put them away. If you have a good place to put these, and think you will use them frequently, then they are absolutely worth it. Unfortunately, for me, they turned out to not be as practical as I hoped.

I purchased two , one for my daughter and one for my son. The loved their gift. My daughter uses it in her media room, it give the space a great look plus added a great effect with the music or tv is on. ( sound mode) My son uses it in his dorm room at college. He can quickly change the mood , light with the app. Hopefully it helps him study!!!

Overall these lights are awesome. I was worried about how they look when turn off, but honestly doesn't look too bad. It can be a bit tricky to figure out good pattern/ layout when installing these. I don't think these are worth $200 and the expansion set is a bit over priced. These are worth the money when on sale. This is my second set and will be buying more in the future. Super easy to use and put together. Music/ sound response mode is pretty cool. Not sure if its a feature I would use often, the default scenes are not that great. However, there are options to download other scenes. The only complaint I have with this system is the app. I've ran into a number of issues with the app disconnecting from the panel which requires a complete restart of the app. It's easy to use the basic features, but have had a lot of problems getting any of the extras to work so basically just gave up. I would still give this 5 stars as the product is still great and really glad I bought these. Just hope the user experience for the software would get a huge improvement.

Great product however using the app sucks and connection issues with WiFi! Overall the lights are built very well however way to expensive, will not be buying these again unless the price point is made more reasonable and affordable. Will not recommend these as they are way to expensive for what they are!

I tried most lighting products out there and this is one of the most unique ones. Lifx has something simiar with tilies but a little pricier. Looking forward to nanoleafs new tiles coming out which are going to be touch sensitive!!! Works well with google home. All in all if you got some money to blow on lights, this this one a look

Got these for my bedroom and they look great! Only thing is I wish that they came with more than 9 pieces. I will be adding more in the future! Colors are very vibrant although I have noticed that they appear lighter on the panel than they do in the app. No biggee tho you just have to play with the settings.

Great lights. Make sure your first panel is level because the command strips are a pain to remove since you don’t keep the edge revealed to make everything look more clean, but if the first panel is straight and level all the others fall in place. Great brightness and functionality. Easy to use app.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it! Easy set up, extremely beautiful, instantly changes the aura of any room. It’s also very bright & stunning but we keep it about 50% brightness and it’s still absolutely gorgeous.

Great product. Brighter than I thought it would be. Easy to put up. Fyi: take time to decide on layout before putting up since there are so many variations. Once my son decided we made sure to level 1st piece and the rest went up no problem. Great product!!

Bought this to use for my son's Star Wars bedroom remodel. Very impressed with the products quality and performance. Setup was very straight forward and wall install was fairly easy. iPhone control was a bonus but overall I rate my purchase as 4 stars/Good due to a not so budget friendly price. Overall very impressive, just hope the price drops a little in the near feature so we can expand.

These lights are a bit pricey but for what they do, they are well worth it. The colors pop very nicely and you can even download new color profiles from the built it community section. Having the lights sync up with music is great as well.

These are freaking beautiful. The sound reactivity, color reproduction, and brightness are way beyond my expectations. This single kit is enough to light up a whole room. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because of how much it costs. $190 on sale for 9 panels is pretty pricey for an average user but the payoff is well worth the money in my opinion.

It is really easy to install and program. Has lots of colors to show and also its good to listen to music and have lights dance to the rythm of music. Uses minimum electricity and it can be installed in any part of the house. Great overall experience and fun for the kids.

At first I had second thoughts about getting this item as I thought they were unnecessary. However, once I got home, I realized I made a mistake by not buying them. The gray walls seemed so simple, so I went ahead and purchased. Now, everyday I paint the room a different color thanks to Nanoleaf, the adjustable brightness is so great and it can be bright. The rhythm function is an amazing feature; there are so many options you can download, or you can make your own! The app is easy to use, although don’t forget to set your WiFi as the 2G option (just for setup, you can switch back to regular speeds after). Personally, I think these lights are the best thing ever.

very nice everyone who sees them ask where did you get them you can make them look like art on your wall buy when you tell them they are lights you should see the look on there face when they light up on the wall going to buy another set.

These panels are amazing. They get a lot brighter than what I initially thought and, adds a little personality to your room. I did have a little trouble with connecting the panels to my phone but managed to figure it out.

Very nice to have these on while gaming and can be very bright, only issue i have is with app it can be a but of a hassle to connect and get going but once you do there plenty of options for color customization.

The day and age of LEDs and smart lighting have come full circle with these expensive but very awesome panels by Nano Leaf. I use them as a background item to my streaming setup in my office. Its a talking piece, a conversation starter. Super easy to install and set-up. My only issue is that it does not support 5Ghz wireless networks, which is annoying given it being 2018 and its price point. It doesn't ruin the use of the product but having to make sure my smart phone is on the 2.4ghz wifi to control it is a nuisance. When it comes to light settings, you have an unless amount of options available. Including custom settings you can download from other users! So if you ever get bored with your current flavor of lighting, simply go into the app and try out something new.
