A must have
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased 3 months ago: Ordering more. love them more and more everyday. I want my entire wall filled with them now. Great addition to any room. Creates a beautiful colorful atmosphere by setting the panels to any color mode you feel like. Panels can be SUPER BRIGHT at 100%. I keep them at about 30-40% brightness. When they are turned up all the way it feels like I'm tanning under mid summer sunshine. They can be easily moved around safely by using FLOSS behind the panel to cut the adhesive and remove from wall. I'd suggest wearing leather or mechanical gloves because the floss can hurt bare skin. Best method is to use a long piece of floss and use wide long sawing motions to cut through adhesive. **I'd recommend ordering the expansion pack of 3 to open up an almost infinite panel arrangement possibilities. I had trouble creating the design i wanted so i went to a website that has an emulator program where you put in the number of panels you have and it will generate different designs for you never repeating a single one! pretty cool. Pictures and video do no give these panels any justice because for some reason cameras can't pick up the colors correctly. I posted a few photos where i managed to get an idea of what they look like by turning down the brightness to about 10%.

Awesome to hopeful...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these LED light panels! They are very fun to look at and design new & different configurations! It is not too difficult to change them with the command strips... but most people will eventually settle on one design. I love them, but as with any technology there are some stumbling blocks! Nanoleaf has tried to mitigate most problems by the thoughtful inclusion of several solutions in their 9 panel "rhythm" kit, and in the app! I purchased this from Best Buy and the 9 panel rhythm kit came with everything I needed to get started. The panels, the rhythm module (which has the built in microphone to make the panels responsive to sounds), the power adapter, the paper panel stencils (for pre-mounting), the instruction book, the mounting pads plus the linking plastic connectors, they were all in the box. I'd been planning where to put them and the design shape for some time (it took a Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sale for me to go ahead a finally pull the trigger because they are very, very pricey)! So I finally ordered the 9 panel rhythm kit. The app I downloaded early and I played with it while waiting for the delivery of my package! First sign of a problem was when I couldn't get the app to virtually place my chosen design where it was going to be in the room. Now I REALLLLY wanted it to be an easy and frustration free process, I really hoped it would be. But it was not easy. Since I tried and tried and tried to get it to work, I finally gave up on placing it virtually and did it the old fashioned way, I placed a panel on the wall, held it there with my hand while I marked it with a pencil. At least it gave me an idea of how big an area the final design would look like, and I adjusted it accordingly. I guess I could have used the individual triangular stencil sheets included with the kit but they were sooo white, for me they disappeared into the verrry white wall I have, making then useless. That also was another point of contention... I hate white. I would have been verrry happy repainting the wall they were to go on...into a "show" wall (something spectacular like in the pictures I've seen and drooled over online) but in my circumstances it's not an option until the Pandemic is over with and I've recieved my inoculation. I like to go and see the different paint colors, live with the variations for a bit, try some sample colors... then decide. I guess it could work out for a future project after I have my panels up, (but right now its very speculative to know if it's going to work out). Anyway... playing with the shapes in the app is fun. It can randomly place different designs together for you, and then you can mess & tweak them into something pleasing easily! It was fun. You can designate how many panels you have to work with, and after trying many variations, I discovered that just 9 panels were not enough. I added a few more when I discovered the have add on 3 pack Bare Bones kits! But be aware- these are add ons...only meant to be used with other complete kits! No electrical plug ins or other modules are included. Just the 3 light panels, mounting strips* & connectors* are included (*my packages were missing the mounting strips and connectors- so if you can- check your boxes immediately!). My ultimate final design worked with 18 panels. So I needed another set of nine. I was debating this as the Black Friday sale ended and Cyber Monday sale started. My 9 panel kit was awesome, but alas the kit was no longer on sale! But I did discover the 3 pack kit add ons were on sale and with a little math, I discovered they were on the same $$$ sale as the Black Friday offerings were, price-wise. So my plan could move forward! I purchased 3 of the 3 packs! Anyway, I wanted to move forward with what I had... I got my vertical line drawn perfectly and placed my first panel! You have to make sure the first one is perfectly level or all the others will not be straight! The command strips are easy to place on the panel tips after you prep them, luckily I had alcohol prep pads available. I recommend prepping the panels and the wall surfaces to get the best adhesion possible! Use the red lettering side toward the panels, and push down and hold for 30 seconds. The black lettering side is for the wall. I stress that you need to check 2 things: 1) That every panel does light up (check them out of the box!) And 2) Check them as you put them up into your design! Those little connectors can trip you up! I thought I had all of mine connected properly, but a couple were not in the slot! So imagine my surprise when a whole section did not light up!! Major Pain! So make sure...Try moving the panel your adding to the ones already placed on the wall by moving it at right angles, just to see if its in the slot or BEHIND IT! If it moves you're not in the slot! A couple of mine were behind the slot- connected to nothing. So removing them is a pain. Do make sure enough of the mounting tab is sticking out that you can grip it and pull! Anyway, after that I finally got all of my partial design panels up, plugged them in and tried to sync them in the app. Let's just say this is where I started to have some "issues" with getting them up and going. It took several sessions to get them up and going. I Eventually worked it out that settings on my router or my Wi-Fi were having issues with syncing with the panels so I messed with both of those and finally discovered a setting that worked and finally got them synced and finally was able to get into the app and save some of my favorite programs that people have in their for the panels already. I picked out several favorites downloaded them to the panels in the app and was able to bring up different Types of colors and reactions... it was wonderful. Then I shut everything off and went to bed the next day is when the problem started I came in to turn on the panels and discovered that the app said they were unreachable so I try to begin I went and I tried to get to the panels and they were unreachable so I thought OK maybe I'll sync them up all over again? That didn't work ...so in the instructions & in the help sections I discovered they said you should do a soft reset...SO I did that and still the panels were unreachable. So I unplugged everything & I followed the directions on a hard reset- that gets rid of all my favorite patterns- and I reset them. Sir right now this is how everything sits on the ground and on the wall not working my panels the extra 3 pack 3 packs came in and they were missing the connectors and the mounting strips I have extra mounting strips but the connectors I am still waiting out a decision from nanoleaf as to how they're gonna help me out. They originally said to go and return the 3x 3 packs panels at Best Buy but since I am not going to any stores, and not going inside any stores ...I don't know what good this will do. Even if I decide to order connectors from Nanoleaf (don't you think they should just send me out some?) What about not being able to connect thru wifi? I know its got to be a setting somewhere- I'm not that knowledgeable on wi-fi settings. So like I said, this us where things sit right now... on the floor and dead on the wall. I'll update y'all as I figure things out. I have seen the posts online and in youtube on how awesome these CAN be- and I still believe my experience can be awesome...but it hasn't gotten there yet for me. Hence the 3 stars. Hopefully I'll be adding stars in the future.

Best lights I have owned
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will say that these are the coolest lights I have ever owned. Very customizable and beautiful, but definitely overpriced... especially with the app that you use to change the color. Since the last update, the app has been so much better, but before, my nanoleafs would disconnect from my wifi constantly, and it was a pain to reconnect. But, the app is updated every so often by Nanoleaf, and with each update it gets better. I also would recommend using velcro command strips instead of the stickers they give you, especially if you aren't 100% confident in where you want to place them. Using velcro stickers allowed me to easily take them off my wall and pack them with for college. Overall, these might be overpriced but I honestly still want to expand my collection soon! :)

Looks amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things are really bright, good thing you can adjust it. Setup was simple, instructions are straight forward. But you can also look up videos on how to do it. Love that they can be customized and there are an abundance of lights features that can be downloaded. Only con is the price, too expensive.

Amazing lighting effects
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hard to Connect with your home but easy to install. Personnaly I had no problem to instal the panels ; but sometimes connecting the device with your phone needs to unplug the panels or restart your phone. Otherwise the app is really Great and I can’t wait for Nanoleaf to add more Dynamic mouvements with future uptdates or betas.

Very Pleased With Nanoleaf
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Currently I have 4 sets of Nanoleaf Rhythm Edition in my living room, 1 set in my bar and 1 set in the master bedroom. Total of 138 individual panels. I have been easily adding Nanoleaf panels for almost a year now and not once have I had any defective panels or problems. Friends and I are always amazed watching the colorful panels dancing in sync with the music playing. Absolutely incredible. So many different configurations can be set up. I highly recommend Nanoleaf.

Bring in the Energy
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for something that would help illuminate my office. It also would since up my remote lessons when my students check out my background. It was effortless to set up, especially setting up the different themes and settings. Having the lights change on vibrations/sounds is great. It shows energy in the room.

Q: QuestionHow large are the triangles? Are they easy to move around?
Asked by BMP10.
- A:Answer They are 9 inches long on each side of the 3 sided triangular shaped panel with a depth of only 0.3 inches. The packing (sheets of paper) that is used to keep the panels from scratching each other during shipping are the same size/shape as a panel. You can use those first to practice creating your design. The hanging strips for the panels can only be used once but if you do screw up follow the instructions for the proper way to remove the strips without damaging your wall. Keep in mind they only include enough hanging strips for one project. That's why it's important to use those sheets of paper to practice the layout first. Take your time and be patient. All of your hard work will be worth it the instant you turn the Nanoleaf on. See picture to see how a panel is measured (the picture is not to scale)

Q: QuestionIs this easy to remove, or will it strip my paint?
Asked by ARenee.
- A:Answer Using gorilla tape to stick these on my wall since the included 3M didn’t hold up well. The 3M strips didn’t mess up my wall and neither has the gorilla tape.

Q: QuestionHow many can you connect to one power supply?
Asked by Mar1saaaa.
- A:Answer Nanoleaf says you can connect 30 panels to one power supply. If u want more then you would have to buy another power supply

Q: QuestionCan you connect two Rhythm Edition 9 panels together?
Asked by Pix.
- A:Answer Yes you can but you would only use one of the supplied power connections. These kits are 100% modular and you can arrange the pieces any direction as is the same case for the power connection. The supplied power unit supplied works for I believe 30 panels
