Disclaimer : This 3pk Hexagon review is combined with my review including the 7-Triangle starter kit, 10pk mini-Triangle expansion kit, and remote control. Here we have the 7th, yes, SEVENTH, generation of smart light panel from Nanoleaf, and the first that can be interconnected with different SHAPES, including Hexagons, Triangles, and mini-Triangles. Having seen this promising product displayed at CES in 2016 I’ve been wanting it ever since. The initial launch seemed a bit pricy, and quality concerns of a first generation product prevented me from the investment. Boy have Nanoleaf products matured. Not only are they on their 7th generation, but they’ve managed to integrate the best of the previous 6 into their new SHAPES product line. This includes Rhythm, Touch, Smart Lighting, and even communication with their new Thread mesh networking bulbs. Best Buy limits postings of 6 photos, but there were SO many more I’d love to have displayed — still shots certainly DO NOT do it justice. (Ashamed to admit, I made an evening of Live Photo Loops and sent them out as Holiday text cards ) This is a product that you really owe it to yourself to check out. PROS + Vibrant Colors + Lighting for any mood + Newest up-to-date version + Built-in Rhythm module included + Touch-sensitive illuminated feedback + infinite possibilities with other shapes CONS -patience -many possibilities -semi-perm installation -pre-planning (but worth it) -sorta pricy (but well worth it too) -adhere to smooth surface, no textured paint CONCLUSION Nanoleaf is in a category all to themselves. This new product is the best of the bunch. This 7-Triangle starter kit offers many layout variations. Adding a pack or two of different shapes, Hexagons, mini-Triangles, or more Triangles infinitely expands your possibilities. Recommendation : Strong Buy !!

I purchased the Nanoleaf starter kit for my husband’s game/arcade room. I knew he would want a bigger area covered and so I am glad that I purchased this expansion kit. They work great, are easy to set up and install. I recommend buying these if you have a larger area that you are wanting to cover. My husband will be purchasing additional ones.

Absolutely the coolest addition to any game room or any room with electronics in it. Behind or surrounding your tv or monitor these things look awesome! If only they weren’t so expensive I’d have these things all over my house! They are so bright and fun to watch and fiddle with. Installation is super simple and besides a lower price these things are a 10/10. There is no competitor out there that can get close to this quality in my honest opinion. I wanted these for so long and have almost purchased them on so many occasions but due to price have talked myself out of it over and over. Eventually I gave in and in the few short weeks since then I have purchased 4 more expansion packs!

Love my nanoleafs! I have 30 hexagons and 10 mini triangles connected to my setup and wouldn't go back. Easy to connect and mount and the app has never given me trouble!

Easy setup and install. They work great and are very beautiful. There are no connectivity issues at all.

In a big fan if LED ARGB loghting, and have mostly corsair RGB gear and wantrf to add something bigger snd on the wall that interraces with ICUE and lightlink. These far surpassed any expectations i had.

Fancy cubes that make your space pop. Simple install and simple app.

I've had all generations of nanoleaf, since the original triangles to the canvas, and now the shapes series, personally I love these for behind my computer monitor, it tends to mesh well for the subtler styles of screen mirroring and work/ game/ movie ambiance. Lil tip, the Nanoleaf store has flex linkers so the panels don't have to be side to side

I am a huge Nanoleaf fan. These light panels can do almost anything you can possibly think of. Along with all the basic features that most light panels offer, the Nanoleaf shapes panels have incredible abilities. They react to sound and dance along to music. They are touch sensitive and allow you to play games like “Simon says” and “candy crush”. They can be setup around your tv so that you can use the screen mirror feature where the colors on your screen will match those on your light panels. And that’s only a few! I know that these panels are a bit pricier than others on the market, however, no other panels have these capabilities.

Honest review. The hefty price tag leaves speculating buyers questioning if it’s worth it over Amazon’s cheaper twin. As I’ve owned both the both these and the cheaper counterpart I can say these are worth it.

I have 25 of these shapes in total and they are amazing. I bought this 3 pk to finish off my display. It’s a good value considering how much the starter pack is. The lights are bright and work well.
