I love my nanos. As you can see, I spent a good deal of time arranging mine into an interesting shape in my setup. Everyone who sees my home office/gaming setup is always in awe, and the lights are definitely the main attraction. The app kinda sucks and constantly fails, making the lights not function according to downloaded settings, but I just use one of the presets you can switch through using the controller on the lights themselves, and there's a pretty pink/blue/purple mix that is my standby. My controller actually ended up crapping out, and Nanoleaf support was quick to help me diagnose it as defective and send me out a new one, which I'm very appreciative about! Their support alone makes this a solid buy. My only gripe would be the app, but it doesn't affect my enjoyment of my lights (personally)

Disclaimer : This 10pk mini-Triangle review is combined with my review including the 7-Triangle starter kit, 3pk Hexagon expansion kit, and remote control. Here we have the 7th, yes, SEVENTH, generation of smart light panel from Nanoleaf, and the first that can be interconnected with different SHAPES, including Hexagons, Triangles, and mini-Triangles. Having seen this promising product displayed at CES in 2016 I’ve been wanting it ever since. The initial launch seemed a bit pricy, and quality concerns of a first generation product prevented me from the investment. Boy have Nanoleaf products matured. Not only are they on their 7th generation, but they’ve managed to integrate the best of the previous 6 into their new SHAPES product line. This includes Rhythm, Touch, Smart Lighting, and even communication with their new Thread mesh networking bulbs. Best Buy limits postings of 6 photos, but there were SO many more I’d love to have displayed — still shots certainly DO NOT do it justice. (Ashamed to admit, I made an evening of Live Photo Loops and sent them out as Holiday text cards ) This is a product that you really owe it to yourself to check out. Worth it so far I use it in the background for streaming and adds a bit of character to the room. So many premade programs but I made my own easily with my own colors

Easy to connect to existing sets. Works well and as described, having the app makes it a much better user experience. Fantastic addition to any shapes but do not work with the original triangles.

Great looking when combined with other shapes. Surprisingly easy and fun to install, and very forgiving if you need to move one or remove a connector. Lower your expectations for the screen mirroring though. It’s pretty limited bc most major apps/streaming services don’t allow screen mirroring.

Got these for bf and sister for Christmas and they immediately set them up in the office! They love the setting to change the brightness and change the mood it shuffles. They also beat to the music on some settings. Overall makes the office more lively and easy to be in.

Small triangles are definitely the way to go. I have octagons too and they are just too big for my taste. The image is of 4 of the mini triangles. The other six are in the hallway,

Great product to give that additional life in any room. You do need the extenaiom pack in my opinion since the starter kit does not give you enough shapes to do anything.

I love these mini triangles and the fact that I can add to my existing shapes! A must add for the nano enthusiast!

Pricy but They look great. Would be nice if you could create a layout on the app using the differents shapes.
