played NH2 for roughly 4 hours and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. I have experimented with virtually all the various game modes and each one has left me coming back for more. Visually the game leaves a lot to be desired with dated graphics and decent damage model. Game play is fun, fluid and challenging with the aggressive AI. My BIGGEST complaint so far is the lack of a mini-map...how can a racing game in 2017 NOT include this? Overall I am impressed with how well 704 Games listened to fans, I didn't play NASCAR Heat Evolution so I really can't say firsthand how much the game has improved, but from what friends have told me and things I've read/watched the game is heading in the right direction. I think any reasonable person understood that the 2016 version was the building block and I look forward to what this series can become down the road.

I most recently had NASCAR ‘14 which was awful. As a result, I skipped the first NASCAR Heat game. However, I thought I’d finally try NASCAR Heat 2 and I’m glad I did. Heat 2 actually makes a NASCAR game fun to play again. For those that aren’t die-hard NASCAR enthusiasts, the game makes it easy enough to jump into a car and race right away without having to adjust the setup just to be able to keep the car on the track. However, for those that are die-hard fans, you’re able to make changes to the setup that actually make a difference to the handling of the car. This is such a welcome feature! No matter what you did to the car setup in NASCAR ‘14, the handling of your car never changed and that was beyond frustrating. The AI in Heat 2 is a huge improvement as well, although they do have a few quirks from time to time, but overall you can race with them and be aggressive without issue. If you want to run the high-line, you can do that. Want to run the low-line? You can do that too and the AI will race with you door-to-door whichever line you choose. The soundtrack is great as well, mostly in the rock genre which can get you pumped to go racing! However, I’ve had the game for about a month now, and I can see how this might lose peoples’ interest after a while. It seems as though once you’ve won the championship in the top series, you've completed all there is and there’s nothing different other than trying to win more championships. Maybe I haven’t progressed far enough in the game, but I would like to see some other aspects brought in, such as having the ability to become a team owner and manage your own team, improve your equipment and crew members, etc. For this reason, I’ve rated this 4 stars. Overall, this is a great improvement over previous NASCAR games and lays a very solid foundation to add onto and continue to improve in years to come.

I like the fact you start out in the trucks and move up through the series like you do in real life. I am in the xfinity series and moving up. Cons: still horrible with flags. I get spun out and no caution flags. I have to wait and get lapped then spin out a computer car to get a caution flag. Needs MUCH improvement on flags and rules.

A lot better than the last edition. Needs a little tweaking on the force feedback on the wheel. A patch should fix this. Great to race other disciplines other than stock cars.

If you’re a Nascar fan, get it. Heads and shoulders above the previous title. Career mode is great and split screen racing returns for when your buddies come over.

I was looking for a racing game I could play locally with my son. This fit the bill. Game is good, decent graphics, easy controls.

Much, much better than the previous version. Career is top shelf. Physics seem a bit off, but I don't use a wheel. Great game.

Get ready to race in NASCAR Heat 2. Stand-alone tracks include Eldora Speedway, and drivers and tracks from both the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series are included as you hurtle along at top speed. A 40-player multiplayer option lets you race against numerous opponents in NASCAR Heat 2.

They made some improvements but it continues to baffle me how they leave out some simple things such as being able to adjust which driving assists you want to be on and by how much. Or like how you can't choose if you just want left tires on a pit stop, just 2 or 4, 2 being the right sides only. Career mode would be so much better if you had to start your own team and make money to improve as opposed to just getting arbitrary contract offers making money that doesnt even matter. A bunch of other little things need to be addressed to make the game better. Just don't understand how no one can ever get nascar video games right. Do they even play them themselves or are they even fans? I mean it is a fun game just not very much different than last year.

I like that they have drivers from all 3 series. So many tracks including Eldora. Best Nascar game in a while.

I love this game, not better than heat but different,gameplay seems a little easier to control,hope they update more paint schemes.

Bought this for my dad/son to play after getting them a ps4, it's simple and easy but still fun enough to play for hours here and there!

It is a thousand times better than last years edition. It is beyond comparison the difference in graphics and everything
