the late john belushi was already a star from saturday night live and this movie was the highlight of his short career. co-written by the late harold ramis and directed by john landis, this also has a host of upcoming young actors, tim matheson, karen allen, kevin bacon and tom hulce. also to me the best, otis day and the knights singin "shout" in this, one of the greatest comedies of all time!

One of the greatest comedies in movies of all time. If you haven't seen this movie yet, do it!

If you're a Classic Comedy & Frat house humor ..Look no further. I don't have time to explain plot or AV specifics, just trust me, for a movie that came out in 1978 it looks & sound good! My only complaint is that they could have made a couple of new updated featurettes or a Commentary considering most of the extras are from previous releases.

This is a film that I grew up with - and never owned this movie on disc. While not knowing what other versions have looked like, the transfer here is excellent. If your a John Belushi fan I think this and Blues Brothers are must owns.
