This worked beautifully, take the output of my Surface Pro 7's USB-C port to an HDMI input on a HDTV and, I assume it work deliver the same signal to a projector. I tried it with a super long HDMI extension cable via a female/female adapter and that worked beautifully too in going into that HDTV. I had tried other USB-C to HDMI adapters and they didn't work. This did! Thanks to Best Buy for this product and I found it with the help of a Blueshirt in my nearby Best Buy store.

This is a cable. Not very exciting. And it shouldn't be. But it's always nice when something exceeds expectations. This cable does what it is supposed to. But it feel substantial, doesn't kink and has that handy little wrap/tie that makes it feel like you got just a bit more than you paid for.

Ten foot very well made cable. It even has a strap in it to keep it rolled up when not in use.

I laughed at my husband when he showed me this in the store. "Who needs a leather strap on a cable?!?" But, I have to say, most cords look very messy under the desk--but not this one! You need to buy a cord anyway--might as well have it look nice!

It gets a little hot while using it, but it works great to play you IPad Pro through a TV HDMI connection. The length means you don’t have to set next to the set to use it.

Excellent quality cable however I had to return it because when I plugged this cord in to all 3 of the following devices they couldn't recognize a Vizio M8 65 inch TV via this USB-C to HDMI cable: HP Chromebook 15 DE Lenovo Yoga 900 series One Plus 7 Pro Apparently it only works for devices that have some sort of "Native USB-C Display" found in newer Apple and Microsoft products. Anyway, I exchanged this for a USB-C to HDMI adapter + HDMI cable and now all 3 devices connect!

I'm really happy with this adapter. It's now a regular feature of my home office setup. I use it to connect my laptop to my monitor and so far the speed and quality have been great. I have also used it to connect my phone to my laptop, and again there were no problems. I've had it for about a month now and it's still going strong.
