2K delivers yet again with a great simulation of NBA basketball. The visuals take full advantage of the next gen consoles. The gameplay is improved, but has room for improvement. Passing could be much better with better control of them. The free throws on this game have been COMPLETELY Ruined. It's literally 50/50 unless you get an A+. The 2K Servers are lacking yet again and that marks, what, the fourth year in a row. RIDICULOUS. It's the best sim out there, however this game is FAR from perfect and is not worth more than a 7.5 out of 10 because of it.

You get more than your money's worth here. I just wish that with the used games they could figure out a way to get a booklet in there for you to use. Games change so much and a booklet would really help..

This is really the best bb game out there. You can play online or locally. The controls are easy and responsive. Takes a little learning curve to pull off more complicated drinking moves but still great. My career is where the game shines, allowing you to become the star of your team through your actions and effectiveness on the court. Even though the game causes you to lose games it is worth the play. Great game.

This is a fun game on which you can spend many hours learning different plays. Multiplayer with a friend or family is a lot of fun. Graphics are pretty good.

The graphics are primarily nice for the players on the court and shows some power of the ps4. However, I feel the coaches and surrounding arena is still bit lacking. The loading times are incredible long. The mycareer option which is an almost a RPG version type of the game is a whole lot of fun and provides replay value. They did a bit of work on improving the models and animation for the next-gen but I expect next year's version to be truely next gen material in-and-out.

I'll be honest, when it comes to sports games, I'm all about Madden and UFC with a smattering of WWE. That said, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I play this game. The career mode will have you locked in for hours, and the directions you can go in are entertaining. The gameplay is also solid, and the more you use the tutorials to learn the movements properly, the more fun you'll have with the game. Highly recommended.

Awesome game! This is the third one I've had. It's one of my two most favorite games. I like this one even better than last year's version.

Bought this for my 11 yr old grandson, He Loved it. Too bad someone stole it from our home. Any coverage for that, I wish.

Playing this game after being away from basketball game for a while is quite refreshing with the updated graphics and game play. There is so much that you can do in the game now it is amazing, and for just a casual gamer it is too complex. It you have the time to learn all the control this game can be amazing. The teams play like real life, and it is fun to be able to play as some of the classics.

Fun game to play with my younger brother. Graphics keep getting better and pay more attention to all the small details.

If you are thinking that this is just 2K with slightly better graphics, think again. If there's one thing to buy the next gen version for, it's the MyPlayer mode, instead of just playing games and answering generic post game interviews you actually interact in a story mode. The players are virtually life-like (aside from some lesser known players) and having many players/coaches voices recorded adds to the presentation of the game. Online can lag at times, but playing pick up games in The Park with your own MyPlayer can be quite fun. The VC system could use some work as many items and game modes require this form of currency, it's used in just about every facet of the game. Animations can be off at times, my two biggest pet peeves are trying to swipe at the ball and my player trips over himself for some stupid reason, causing the opponent to get an easy bucket. Passes can phase through your character at times, when I get in the way of the ball it should be an easy interception. Minor issues aside, I have had a lot of fun with the MyPlayer mode alone, I look forward to the next gen iterations of 2K.

The graphics and gameplay for this title are solid, and it has some new features I haven't seen before such as creating your own team and basically... an entire campaign mode. I enjoy the option of playing as the 1996 Chicago Bulls on two-player mode. The biggest reason this game earned only three stars is simply because it takes up too much space on the PS4 hard drive; 40-some GB. That is too much for a sports title in my opinion.

good game overall, one of the best I've played in years. I absolutely love this game. Graphics are superb, game modes are awesome. I used to play nba14 by EAsports but when I saw this game for the fist time I bought it right away. Go get it!

I love the game like my career mode I just don't like u can't control the saving option and I hate the vc

This is the best NBA game on the market. It looks almost real. The game responds like a dream. The online play isn't the best but that because people can leave before I can beat them and it messes with my rating but I school by friends. Once you get a feel of this game, you will agree.

I've played the 2K series since 2K7. I honestly love 2K14 the best. The graphics have been a great improvement vs NBA Live. The new career mode is just perfect for me. The only thing to complain is VC points are annoying and you can't play several game modes when servers are down.

2k always provides quality sports games. This game is no different, however I isn't much different than past games.

This basketball franchise has no real competition. The EA Sports rendition of basketball is poor in quality compared to this juggernaut. If you want a real detailed game with hours upon hours of fun gameplay, this is the game for you. Definitely recommend for true NBA fans!
