Based on what my sons have showed me and their own comments, this game is pretty impressive. Graphics are phenomenal, personalization per player is pretty spot on, and overall game play is enjoyable :)

GREAT graphics, a little difficult to learn how to play. Difficult to learn to navigate through menus to find where you want to go, and as usual woeful lack of help in manual

All in all, this is the best version of this game to come out. The players look great. You can tell who everyone is just by looking at them. You don't even need to see the Jersey number. The game play is harder and that's a good and bad thing, but I do hate the VC system. I hate that you have to earn Virtual Coins to get anything and then when you get a contract player, after the contract is up… you have to get a new control in order to play with him. I also don't like the fact that you get duplicate players when buying team packs. The graphics are terrific and the game play is pretty good. I am glad I bought it.

I like that the theme of this game is different than the PS3 version. Didn't like that you lose the Lebron path on this version but he upgrade in graphics and game play will make up that you will forget about it.

For the PS4 this game has amazing graphics and plenty of life like game modes and skills options included. 2K however needs to work a few bugs in the game but nothing that prevents you from playing.

Very realistic game, good updates & really fun online experience. I am more of a nba jam player just because i like all the nonsense that can be done in that game but aside from that this is the best real nba experience you can get. Nba live did a horrible job in their release so 2k is the winner.

first game I bought for my ps4 got a great deal too and in this next gen' era filled with fail ports, NBA 2K14 is an exception, a great example with brand new graphics engine allowing impressive graphics. Visual Concepts's Basketball sim delivers graphics never seen in a sport games, and gives a meaning to the term next gen' on par with zone : Shadow fall and Battlefield 4. But beyond impressive graphics NBA 2K14 keeps touching perfection in terms of gameplay, still as precise as ever, with a game experience still more satisfying due to the very well done. NMW

Overall, the gameplay is great. Responsiveness of the player actions and movements are much better than previous versions of the 2K platform. This game, however, has lots of bugs that still need to be worked out. The start screen takes entirely too long to finish. It often will take 3-4 mins for the 2K menu to pop up because the start screen takes so long to get through. Also, this game freezes a whole lot when selecting teams or changing uniforms to play a 'quick game'! Also the game will glitch or freeze often during online play. Overall I would still recommend this game for purchase. It is fun to play for hours on end and the graphics are unparalleled!

These Next-Gen graphics are just too amazing, and 2k14 doesn't let down. The detail of the court and the players is just gorgeous.

Detail is far greater than NBA live. MyCareer mode has many aspects of a players career that make the mode even more interesting

Great graphics and flawless game play experience. I normally play on Xbox but purchased it for ps4 and I love it.

I've been playing 2k games faithfully since 2k9. I was still a Live user and my dormmates told me to try out 2k. Been hooked ever since. I've already preordered 2k16 and can't wait!

Great game with realistic play. The players look real and they have the real rosters for the teams.

I pretty much only play the My Player mode and I love it, but building up enough credits to do anything is difficult. After I pay $60 for a game I don't want to be nickeled and dimed. Nickle and Dimed is exactly how I feel. Playing the mobile app helps, buts it's not balanced for me. It looks great and plays great, but I doubt I will pick up this game next year. If you are really good at the game, what I am saying won't matter. If you are average like myself this game will be tedious.
