I know some think it's the same game every year but this year I feel it's different the my career has been changed and graphics have gotten better honestly if you're a basketball fan this game is worth getting!

I preordered this game for my son. Each year the game gets better and the graphics are amazing. The game is realistic and has the marquee NBA players shooting ability duplicated in the game as well.

Took a break from the nba2k franchise for a couple of years. Decided to try this years and can't stop playing. Especially my career mode. It's by far the best sports game I've played in years.

My husband and my son loves this game. They sit for hours and have friendly competition. The graphics are amazing and the features have improved so much. Definitely a must buy.

I bought this game for half the price on Black Friday and I love the price and game. I am a true fan of this game and love it every year. Best basketball game ever! Period!

The story line for this game is much better than last year. If your a fan of this franchise, you'll enjoy this game. Great graphics, story and career mode. GET THIS GAME!

I owned 2k NBA games going back a couple of years now, and this game is just as good as the others if not better. The graphics are great, if you have a 4k TV with HDMI it looks awesome. All the rosters are updated to current NBA rosters. The game play is great, and i think even more realistic than before. I am currently playing it in GM Mode and play exhibition games with friends. If you like the 2k series then you won't be disappointed with 2k17. Is essential for the NBA fans out there.

Making your own player and then taking them through a season and grow as a player is fun. The online play is always a blast showing your skills against other.

My sons and I spend probably too much time in this game. It's lots of fun, the graphics are great, and the new features are nice.

I have been purchasing a the NBA 2K game since dreamcast. I have owned every version except for NBA 2K12. My brother bought it and we were living together. No need for a second copy. The gameplay is still the best amongst the other basketball games. Over recent years the MyPlayer has blossomed. Spending countless hours to build a player each year has become tiresome. I rather not play the mode. 2K has. Even nickel and dining games for the last 3-4 years on this mode. This will be my last 2K game for a while, because I refuse to pay to improve a garbage player and I refuse to play 200 games to improve his abilities each year.

This is as far, the best basketball game that I have ever played, EVER! and I have been playing basketball video games since little with Double Dribble! My Career is the best one done, franchise with the expansion for 6 teams and relocation makes it even better that prior years and the presentation with the TNT cast, absolutely epic. 2K sports do the best sports games out there, only in 2k could bring band football... how happy would I be. I strongly recommend this title to any sports fans.

Great improvement from 2k16. Little things like improved voice acting, fluidity of movement, and overall graphics made this game for me. I'm not a hardcore NBA 2k fan (I know, boo) because I only install the app JUST for VC and I only play mycareer and maybe some play now games but that's it. I never really dabbled much in the other features which I know most will be outraged by. But, as a fan of the game just purely for the entertainment, the game still blew me away. Solid buy.

My review comes strictly from the point of view of a player who plays the game competitively online using gamebattles to set up online team play matches with friends. I have not yet played modes such as My Team, Pro am, and Online quick match, but have played well over 100 games to get a good feel for the gameplay. In 2k15, there were countless abused exploits that ruined the online gameplay experience including the post drive and post fadeaway animations. Also, poor shooters could hit shots despite low ratings because of how easy it was to get a green light release. In 2k16, they decided to make it possible to miss green light releases but also made it infinitely harder to get a green light. Dunks and layups were constantly blocked at the rim and Pro Am assigned undersized CPU's to fill positions not occupied by user players. My Team was also very poorly managed in 2k16 with the market becoming over saturated with overrated elite tier cards very quickly and players constantly disconnecting from matches for no reason in road to the playoffs. This year it is not too easy to get green lights, but it is no longer possible to miss them, a HUGE positive for the game. Also, the CPU players are much more competent offensively, another positive. Lastly, Pro Am is much more in depth based upon what I've heard and I look forward to playing it once I build enough VC to create a good My Player. Unfortunately, the frequency of foul calls in this game is beyond belief with routine defense resulting in blocking calls. Charges are also called seemingly without reason and the CPU players on Hall of Fame convert several And One baskets per game on terrible shot attempts in the paint. Fouls on awful layup and dunk attempts consistently bail out unskilled players as well making for a very frustrating experience each and every game. These layup attempts have a timing meter for the first time ever as well. This meter causes greatly slowed down animations that are either well timed and frequently blocked or poorly timed and missed uncontested. This makes scoring in the paint as a player who cannot dunk very difficult forcing small guards to rely on foul calls for offense. Despite all of this, there are not yet any abused exploits to speak of and as a top gamebattles team each year this makes for a better experience playing the game competitively. However, improvement over 2K15 and 16 isn't saying much as both of those games had major flaws. Were it not for the constant fouling, I would give this game 4 stars without hesitation, but as it stands such a major issue cannot be overlooked. Whether or not I would recommend this game is a toss up, but if you can overlook the fouls, there is a good game in here somewhere. Hopefully a future update can make this a reality.

NBA 2K17 improved upon all aspects of the game. Better story line and career mode make gameplay more interesting.

1stly the new face scan feature is a lot easier to use being you get to use your phone vs your Kinect senor. And its cool how now your created character is to spec. Meaning you customize your height, weight, and even wing span. And no more people creating Center that are all over the count shaking people like point guards. Pick your position and your body type and you may be strong in one area but it might leave you weak in another. Good luck on the hardwood peeps

When you buy a 2K game now you pretty much know you are getting quality and they deliver once again with the most complete sports game experience to date. Players are the most realistic and accurate as I have seen in any game, as well as on court play. My Career delivers a great experience once again, and it seems that they have finally fixed issues with the face scan feature as my player looks exactly like me to even the smallest details. Excellent experience

2k delivers every year, the graphics are great as always. The my career reached new heights and is unmatched.

The game was great. Good quality, great gameplay, and the controls are very easy to handle.
