The offline basketball is great and deserves it's due. Tying the MyCareer to online is a terrible money grab. All the online stuff should be F2P, with how much grinding or money you need to put into it. Then all work is lost after a year. If you don't have a great internet connection, it will also feel like your defender in on skates and moves a half second to late. If you want to play offline, 5 starts. Online is 2 at best.

I am not a huge fan of sports games on the Switch ( see WWE 2K18) but this was suprisingly good. Especially on the go. Few hiccups here and there but I liked it

Amazing graphics for a Switch, great game to play with friends.

Overall, game is ok. The graphics are good for a sports game on the Switch console. However, the game is very difficult to learn - almost discouraging to the point, it does not get played often.

It’s an ok on the switch but I like it better on the other consoles but its pretty challenging trying it on the switch cause you can take it on the go or play it st home

Seems to be be a good game. Bought it as a Birthday present and he really enjoys it. I have not played but my review would probably not carry much weight since I don’t game.

My son loves this and the gameplay was great. Good graphics and manager options are very cool. He likes that he can develop his own player through their career.

I bought this on sale, and man did I enjoy some basketball on the road trip I just got home from! Looks great, and plays great.

It’s not mediocre, it’s the best basketball sim, but after so many years it just feels stale. It’s slow to load, servers are unreliable, and a lot of the game just seems unfair. It’s got a ton of content and if you out in the hours it’s great. I found story mode interesting but it’s also less micro transaction based than myteam. I’m hoping 2k20 improves on everything.

I’d been looking at this game for my son and found it on sale for less than half price. He plays it constantly.

Great graphics, engaging gameplay, can't stand the commercials or 2KTV interruptions (thankfully they can be skipped).

NBA on the go and it plays great and the graphics are clean, almost like PS3 graphics which is great

My kiddo enjoys this game, every year they add some new talent to the line up.
