Discs work well, and though the show continues a trend towards darker themes - ahh, stop killing off favorite characters to get those grim 'surviving-characters-deal-with-the-aftermath episodes' ! Isn't ANYone allowed to be happy, or have even one not-aggravating parent*? - the teamwork, character interactions, plotting in both individual episodes and the overall arcs, acting, and writing is top notch. *I mean, besides Abby, who as one of TV's most original characters of any gender, is delightful, and appears to be the one NCIS lead who by all accounts has great family relationships. Yay, Abby! :)

I gave this season a five because of the last episode. Quite frankly I've been very bored with the Tony character and "actor" playing him since the first season. Don't care for the actress playing Zeva either. Kate should not have been replaced. The other actors carry the show. The staging of Ducky's heart attack, David M's acting, and the wonderful cinematography of that last scene was perfect. I actually shed a tear.

I love NCIS so this is not a unbiased review. I also misplaced season nine so I bought a new season nine. I'm looking forward to season eleven DVDs, and the new season 12 this coming Tuesday. This is the only tv show which I have the complete series. My one complaint is that the producers of the DVDs went cheap and no longer prints pictures on the DVD as they did the first few seasons. : (

I went into the store for one thing and ran across NCIS seasons on sale for $15 each season. What a great deal. I could not leave without buying all the seasons they had that I did not already have. Now I always look in that selection just incase no matter what I am going in to get.

My family has had and enjoyed NCIS Season 9 since it first became available. A friend remarked how she wished she could find it in a local store. Bingo, I had the prefect gift for the birthday present. She has thanked me every time I have seen her since.

Gibbs and team continue to bring you true to life episodes each week with their superior crime solving skills. You may learn a few things in this season about Gibbs Rules and which ones not to break. Keep on watching!!!

i like the fact that the dvds have the extra features. this series is enjoyable to watch. that you carry all the seasons is great. I dislike it when i am enjoying a show then they are no longer availible have not had that problem with your company

I bought several of the series and I am enjoying watching them when nothing else is on that I like. We also have Dish and lose tv signal in bad weather and it is great to have these to watch.

I have been a fan of NCIS from day 1. Even after 9 Seasons they still come up with fresh material to entertain. The chemistry with the cast and great writing make the show one that I will keep coming back to watch.

The formula is set long ago and we don't mind a bit. With the usual expected camaraderie, we have some surprises this season and if you were entertained the previous 8 years, you MUST get season 9!

The best show on tv. I think the ensemble of cast members is perfect. They feel like family: being a fan since the beginning you look for certain clicks with the characters that never disappoints.

I love watching NCIS! I am only two seasons away from having the full series. It is great show that if you are into crime shows, you will love this show and fall in love with the cast.

i have had trouble finding this series and i looked around and found the series i was looking for at a great price, definitely coming back for more seasons. thank you.

This is was an interesting season because of the (spoiler alert) bombing and the reason for it. I missed watching it when I moved and had to see it. Great Season.

Season 9 - this is the year with Psy Ops, Jamie Lee Curtis (love her with Mark Harmon!), and a number of really different cases. Great cast. Great season.

NCIS is one of my favorite shows. I enjoy getting these seasons at such a good price!

The Ninth Season of NCIS continues to provide excellent entertainment. If you enjoyed the earlier seasons, you don't want to miss this one!

One of the better military crime drama shows on tv. Excellent actors, believable plots, intrigue, conspiracies and believe it or not, humor.

THE WRITERS OF THE SHOW ARE SOLID. THE ACTTING IS PREMO!!! IF YOU ARE A NCIS FAN YOU KNOW THE DRILL. KEEP IT COMING.

As usual Season 9 of the NCIS TV series meets the high standards of the program series as all of the previous seasons.
